Kleinod in den Bergen

Wir waren für eine Woche zu Gast bei Cristina. In dieser Zeit haben wir die Toskana mit dem Motorrad erkundet und den Moto GP Mugello besucht. Dafür ist das Ferienhaus der ideale Ausgangspunkt. Die Wohnung ist großzügig angelegt und bietet alles, was man braucht. Die Gastfreundschaft ist überwältigend und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Diese Wohnung ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Hätte nicht schöner und erholsamer sein können!

Bei unserer Ankunft fanden wir ein sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Feriendomizil vor, was keine Wünsche offen lässt. Die beiden Gastgeber waren von Anfang an bemüht uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen und standen uns bei Fragen oder wenn was fehlte immer zur Verfügung. Die Lage ist traumhaft mit tollem Blick ins Tal. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Ja recommande à 100%, les propriétaires au petits soins pour vous ,

Le cadre est magnifique, la propriété est somptueuse. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants, tres aimable, souriants. La location est très propre et très bien entretenu. Le lieu est reposant le soir après les visites. Un lac à 25 min permet de se rafraîchir.

Traumurlaub

Wir haben einen herrlich entspannten Urlaub verbracht. Die Wohnung war wunderschön und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage erhöht mitten in der Natur mit schöner Aussicht. Es ist sehr ruhig und unsere Vermieter unglaublich freundlich und herzlich. Sie haben uns auch gute Tipps gegeben. Die Toscana kann man von hier aus gut erobern. Wir haben auch die Gesellschaft von Hugo und Tobi ( Hund und Kater) sehr genossen und würden Christins und Lucca jederzeit wieder besuchen. Vielen Dank für die herrliche Zeit Kathy, Michael, Aaron und Amelie

Toskana's Herzstück

Zu dritt haben wir für eine Woche die fantastische Gastfreundschaft von Cristina und Lucca (+Hund Hugo!!!) erfahren. Ihr Anwesen liegt auf einem Berg mit direktem Panorama-view auf Borgo San Lorenzo und die umliegenden Berge. Die Wohnung ist ein Traum und super ausgestattet! Die liebenswerten Gastgeber stehen mit Rat und Tat und Tipps für Ausflüge sehr gern zur Verfügung, wofür wir äußerst dankbar waren. Mit dem Auto sind wir immer in das 20 minütig entfernte Fiesole-Caldine gefahren um dort zwei Stationen mit der Regionalbahn in das Stadtzentrum (Altstadt) von Florenz zu gelangen. Es ist die beste Art, um so ausgiebig die gesamten Sehenswürdigkeiten von Florenz zu erkunden. Wir würden immer wieder gerne zu Cristina und Lucca und Ihrem Anwesen I Castagni Dei Medici reisen und empfehlen es wärmstens für alle andern Personen.

Excellent séjour .Nous revenons avec des souvenirs plein la tête.

Christina et Luca nous ont reçus du 14 au 21 Aout 2018 dans leur belle demeure Toscane de Borgo San Lorenzo à 40 minutes de Florence. Nous avons immédiatement apprécié leur gentillesse,leur convivialité et leur discrétion.Ce sont des hôtes merveilleux. Leur gîte est confortable,bien aménagé,raffiné .Leur chien Ugo,un golden retriever adorable,ajoute une note de gaieté et de tendresse à l'ambiance des lieux. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés le premier jour, nous avons été un peu surpris par l'isolement et le trajet nous a paru long,mais par la suite,nous nous y sommes habitués,et Christina nous a conseillé pour la suite une route plus praticable . (D'ailleurs Christina est toujours de bon conseil...pour les restaurants par exemple!) Nous voulions connaitre un peu la région du Mugello, et visiter Bologna,Pistoia,Pisa et Lucca,Siena,San Gimignano et bien sûr Firenze ....et puis les enfants avaient bien l'intention de dépenser leurs économies à l"Outlet"! Nous avons pu faire tout cela,en rayonnant chaque jour à partir des "Castagni dei Medici". Et quel bonheur le soir de rentrer au calme,et de savourer la fraîcheur,le chant des grillons et le scintillement de la nuit étoilée,bien installés sur la terrasse,loin de l'agitation de la ville.C"est magique. La Toscane est belle,mais elle ne s'arrête pas à Florence, il faut savoir sortir un peu des sentiers balisés. C'est pour cette raison que nous avons choisi la propriété de Christina et Luca.

The perfect place to unwind and rejuvenate creativity

Hosts Cristina and Luca are superb in offering you a place that oozes charm, the Appenines, cleanliness and comfort. It is the perfect place to come back to after a day in tourist Italy. From there, we took the train to Lucca, Pisa, Firenze and we drove 2.5 hours to Venice (the high speed train would have cost too much). We were also able to explore the local areas, taste local fare (cheaper than in the main tourist areas) and have a wonderful nights’ sleep in our apartment. Cristina and Lucca invited us to share the view of the Bloodmoon with them over a glass of wine. From them, we learnt more about Italy and its people. I cannot fault anything about our stay or holiday in Italy or at I Castagni Dei Medici. I would definitely recommend I Castagni Dei Medici as a place to stay.

Lovely stay at Borgo San Lorenzo

The property is beautifully renovated and located in a very tranquil and peaceful area north of Florence. The facilities are very good with beautiful bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen/dining area. Cristina and her husband (and Hugo!) are terrific hosts and it was a perfect base for our working break in Tuscany!

Vacances dépaysantes en Toscane

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans une trés jolie maison possédant tout le confort et en pleine nature. Des vacances à la fois trés reposantes car trés au calme et instructives car à proximité de trés jolies villes comme Florence ou Sienne. Il y a également un magnifique lac à 15 mn de la maison trés agréable. Les propriétaires et leur gentil chien sont trés accueillants et fort sympathiques !

très bonne semaine en Toscane

nous avons passé une très bonne semaine chez Cristina et Luca. la maison est très belle et la décoration aussi. Elle est très confortable et la vue est magnifique. Elle est située au calme dans la campagne toscane. A 30 min de Florence et 10 min de Borgo San Lorenzo (supermarchés, piscine, restaurants...). Cristina et son mari sont très sympathiques et accueillants. merci pour cette belle semaine

appartement confortable dans une maison très bien restaurée dans le silence et la fraicheur

L'appartement est confortable, la maison est de très bonne facture, la vue sur les collines est agréable, les nuits sont très calmes, relativement fraîches et pas un moustique n'est à déplorer. L'accueil est également tres agréable. Le seul bémol concernerait le manque de services de proximité mais on ne peux pas avoir le beurre et l'argent du beurre...

Immaculate property, idyllic location

Beautiful property set in an amazing location. The house has been tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard. All the facilities you could require were provided for. The house was spotlessly clean. Cristina and Luca were exceptional hosts and lovely people. We had a gorgeous time staying there and would definitely return.

Fabulous place in the mountains outside florence

The owners were very friendly, the place was super clean, beautifully decorated and with beautiful views from high over the countryside. Florence was only half an hour away by car. We would have loved to stay longer and would definitely go back!

Very nice stay in a wonderful house

We were very happy to stay in this house which is a beautiful. The cleaning was perfect. The house is located in a calm lanscape where you can see deers, rabbits and birds. You can linger in the garden while your kids are playing around. It is big enough for barbecueing also. The house is half an hour drive from Florence which is convenient if you plan to make your own meals. Our hosts are vey kind and eager to provide you with information about good restaurants and all available activities in the area.

A ne pas manquer

Un endroit remarquable !!! Un peu à l'écart de la ville ce qui permet de profiter du calme et de la fraicheur (relative) des soirées après la chaleur florentine mais aussi des promenades en forêt, les amateurs de champignons pourront même y cueillir cèpes et chanterelles. L'entrée sur Florence est aisée (prévoir 30 minutes). Une maison aménagée avec beaucoup de gout par Christina et Luca, disposant de tout le confort nécessaire et un jardin avec une vue époustouflante. Des hôtes qui vous reçoivent avec le sourire, à la fois présents si besoin mais également discrets au quotidien. Nous avons passé des temps formidables dans ce lieu et une soirée avec Luca et Christina très agréable. A proximité (3,5 km) vous trouverez une petite épicerie et un bar qui prépare également de bonnes pizzas. prévoir 30 min environ depuis de Florence Cette location superbe est située dans une très belle et grande bâtisse un peu isolée rénovée avec beaucoup de gout par les propriétaires Elle est située en hauteur et bénéficie ainsi d'une superbe vue et de fraicheur en été, appréciable après une journée à Florence .... Formidable séjour; avec un accueil très chaleureux et rare ; l'appartement est de grande qualité ; très bien équipé, complet et très confortable (cuisine, mobiler, TV , Sdb et chambre...) décoré avec soin par les propriétaires. Een grootse ontvangst in Toscane

Een erg mooi landhuis in Polcanto, waar je goed plaats hebt voor 4 volwassenen en 2 kinderen. Het huis ligt op een top van een heuvel met een prachtig uitzicht. Om het huis is alle ruimte om buiten te genieten. Een mooie bbq, tuinstoelen etc. De omschrijving van het huis klopt met de werkelijkheid. Beneden in het huis zou het handig zijn als er een tweede toilet was. Een auto is in deze omgeving onmisbaar. De eigenaren zijn zeer gastvrij en verlenen je alle hulp om je vakantie zo prettig mogelijk te maken. Ze verrasten ons met een buitengewoon heerlijke Italiaanse maaltijd. In de directe omgeving zijn vele mooie bezienswaardigheden. Het Toscaanse landschap is op elk moment prachtig, zowel wandelend als met de auto. Dick en Ellen, Leusden

Onder de Kastanjes van de Medici's

Het huis is ligt op een van de mooiste locaties in de omgeving van Florence. Het enige geluid dat je er hoort, is het geroep van de oehoe in de bossen. Het huis is netjes, mooi gerestaureerd, van alle gemakken voorzien, en ruim. De villa beschikt over een mooie tuin met eeuwenoude kastanje bomen waaronder je kunt barbecueën op echt hout. Als je geluk hebt, helpen de fantastische eigenaren van het pand je met het vuur op te stoken en brengen ze wat lekkers mee. Het huis ligt op 20 minuten va Florence, al is de weg ernaar toe vrij bochtig. Ook was het bij aankomst een beetje lastig om te vinden (een bordje aan de weg zou wel handig zijn). Verder is de omgeving geschikt om prachtige autoritten te maken of lekker te wandelen of dorpen te bezoeken. We vonden het een super mooie vakantie, vooral met dank aan de vriendelijke Christina en Luca!!

Prachtig Toscane

Wilt u genieten van een rustige vakantie in een prachtige omgeving en een schitterend huis is dit een aanrader. Polcanto ligt in de nabijheid van Florence en gemakkelijk per auto te bereiken. Cristina en Luce zijn erg gastvrij en erg behulpzaam. Wij hebben genoten. Joop Trudy Linda Judith.

Fantastic villa, beautiful views and great people

We spent 1 week stayng in Caterina in July 2011 and had a fantastic time. The location, size and style of the villa was perfect for us. Stunning views in peaceful surroundings but still just 20mins from Florence. It is ideal for those who want to be able to see the sites and relax when you come home. The drives to the Chianti region, Sienna and San Marino (2.5hr drive through the mountains but worth it) were superb. The owners we very helpful and recommended great things to do and see and places to eat. We would defininelty recommend this villa and hope to go back ourselves next year.
