Had a really lovely stay. Property is super well equipped and very clean and comfortable. Location is great right in the heart of Rye and brilliant to have off road parking.
Would highly recommend and we can't wait to return
North side is in a perfect location : next door but one to a great pub, Globe Marsh Inn, and within 5 minutes walk of centre of Rye plus it has parking. Warm, clean and comfortable: perfect and highly recommended…
North side is a beautiful house - very clean, bright and well equipped and with a parking space. Only 5 minutes walk to centre of Rye and also a few steps away from lovely pub The Globe Inn Marsh. Owners are friendly and very helpful. Perfect!
Nice house. Very clean. Off road parking and garden with seating area a massive bonus. Very close to a great pub 'The Globe' but this does mean you can hear the refrigerator units from the bedrooms and people leaving. Rye a fabulous town with many great pubs and eateries
We had a four night stay at Northbank cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is spotlessly clean, well equipped and just a few minutes walk from town. It was a lovely surprise to find a welcome pack too. Added to that, there is a fabulous pub right next door that serves lovely food and the staff are so friendly. We would definitely recommend a stay.
Northbank is well situated in terms of being a short walk into the town and also being close to the Globe inn which saves walking into town if you want to eat out. It's possible to do good walks straight out from the house, and Rye is a charming base with lots of historical interest and independent shops on the High Street.
The property is spacious and spotlessly clean. We really enjoyed our stay.
The only down side was it was noisy in the front bedroom with traffic passing from about 5am. We would also have appreciated being left a folder of information about the various appliances because the initial info provided was quite scant. The owners Jamie and Simon were very helpful in responding to our queries
This was our second stay at Northbank and we enjoyed it as much as before. A lovely cottage with everything you could need. The big bonus is parking. Rye is notoriously difficult to find parking spaces so this cottage saves that headache. It has a nice enclosed garden, ideal if you have a dog like us. A short walk into town, where everything just a stones throw away. We would definitely recommend.
This was a comfortable house, reasonably provisioned. There was a generous food pack waiting. Plenty of cupboard and drawer space, and comfortable bed. Because of its situation, the house is quite dark, but bright lighting compensates. We struggled a bit with the heating, but I think this has been resolved. It wasn't cold anyway. Very central to Rye, and with car parking, this is a perfect house for a short stay.
This house was perfect for our short stay. In a good location for walking into Rye to shops and restaurants, especially The Globe Inn, which was just 2 doors away, great for dinner and atmosphere! Also I found lovely walks to do with the dog along the river and further afield across grasslands to Camber Castle and the nature reserve.
A great welcome pack of goodies was a bonus, and the house was so clean and comfortable, with everything you would need and clear instructions for the heating, TV etc.
We would recommend this as the perfect base for anyone wishing to explore the area.
The house is lovely, with everything you need for a great trip, and the food basket on arrival was much appreciated. It is in a great location for visiting Rye.
