This apartment is located in Lavapiés, one of the most central and traditional neighbourhoods of Madrid, in an area of popular origin that has recently become a benchmark for the new generations and all those in search of an authentic, multicultural and thriving environment.

Next to Plaza de Tirso de Molina, La Latina and just 5 minutes\' walk from Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol and all the tourist attractions of the city.

The apartment:

This apartment is located on the first floor of a building without a lift and can accommodate up to 6 people.

The living room, tastefully decorated, has a comfortable double sofa bed. The kitchen is equipped with everything you may need during your stay in Madrid.

The sleeping area has a separate double bedroom and a bedroom with two single beds, located in a loft with sloping ceilings (maximum ceiling height 150 cm)

It has a full bathroom and another divided into a shower area and a sink and toilet area.

The apartment has free WiFi internet and partial air conditioning.

The cot is subject to availability. Please notify us no later than 5 days in advance.

Try not to rent here!

We had quite an experience staying here. Renting with MIT house works through an app. For some it might be easy and much more smooth (i thought it would be). To start off, the app was not allowing me to continue check in by adding all documents needed from all guests. I had to call their office phone line to help (people can be rude). I was finally told everyone was checked in so I went on with my day. The apartment was clean and neat, I’ll give them that. But honestly it’s bad advertising. It’s June in Madrid and it is hot! States there are 5 a/c units in apartment, only one in the whole area. Wifi, not functioning. I emailed the company and heard nothing back. Later to get back in the apartment app wasn’t working to open the apartment doors (total 3 doors just to get to apartment). It’s midnight and im locked out. Had to call an emergency number they have. Took them about half hour to get to the apartment and open doors for us. Leaving us again with no keys. No wifi, hot apartment. Next day we call they say someone will reach out to me to take a look at the place. Never got a call, never got a reply to emails. I had to call again, and of-course complain because I was not getting what I was paying for. Left to town to enjoy my vacation and couldn’t enjoy because I was waiting for a call back or email response and never herd either or. Had to get someone again to come and open doors for us. Supervisor was rude/ bad customer service skills. Horrible experience. Asked for money back, didn’t want to help me out, I did mention I’d have to complain through my bank, Supervisor said when tech arrives remove items from apartment if you are going to follow with your bank. Excuse-me! You charged me right away but can’t help me out right away. One thing is wifi and a/c not functioning, but being locked out multiple times of a place you are paying for is most certainly not acceptable. If you’ve had a good experience here im happy and glad. But myself and family definitely do not recommend to anyone. As a side note, it’s critical to have a working phone with service (if you’re a tourist only relying on wifi, this rental is not for you).
