A BEAUTIFUL HOLIDAY LODGE IN PERTHSHIRE, SCOTLAND -SLEEPS 6
Rannagulzion Lodge is a self-catering detached lodge house, excellently refurbished in 2019. It’s a wonderful place to spend a relaxing holiday with family or friends surrounded by amazing scenery. The interior has been furnished in calming colours combined with the essential character of the house, deep sills, sloping ceilings and a scullery neatly opened up to make a well functioning kitchen with all the mod cons. It has an enclosed sunny courtyard which separates the main part of the house from the second living/dining space, ideal for get together inside or a barbecue outside.
The Cataran trail is right on your doorstep and a great way to explore the local area on foot.. Fishing and Shooting can be arranged on request.

We had a wonderful trip to Perthshire on Scotland and our stay at Rannagulzion Lodge was perfect!
The Lodge is in a beautiful remote setting but we could do our shopping 15 mins away in Blairgowrie. We love to cook and the kitchen was better equipped than my own! On a trip with extended family it was great having 2 bathrooms and the bedrooms where spread out nicely so we never felt on top of each other. Our 5 year son also loved playing in the courtyard and playing in the games room.
The Lodge really is beautiful and has everything you need. Veronica and Steffan are also wonderful hosts, very friendly and gave us great local information.
We would go back in a heartbeat and highly recommend the Lodge for anyone visiting Perthshire.
Thank you Veronica and Steffan!
Absolutely brilliant property for us.
4 friends that like to get into the country. Glenshee is about 35 minutes by car, Pitlochry 45 minutes or Blairgowrie 10 minutes. 50 mins walk to pub or 20 mins cycling on quiet road.
The property is very well equipped with plenty of games and books and perfect sheltered court yard which faces west so gets the sun until the end, also has a canopy in case of rain.
Very quiet perfect!
Sweet restored stone cottage in Perthshire. Somewhat out of town but incredibly peaceful and quiet. Hosts are lovely people, showed us the house, kindly left basket on goodies on arrival. All systems worked well, nothing but positives about our stay here.
I can't say enough about this place. It is beautiful and spotless. Veronica and her husband are wonderful and treat you like family. You think it is out in the country and it is but so close to everything. I could come back over and over and I will. Great! Great!
Had a very comfortable stay in this beautiful property. Great peaceful location with Blairgowrie just a short drive away and an ideal base for exploring perthshire and beyond. The cottage was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated (including an amazing bath) and very well equipped with all you could need for your stay. Veronica and Stefan were great hosts providing some lovely personalised welcoming touches for our arrival which was very thoughtful. Thank you both for making us all feel so welcome!
The most perfect location and house that ticked all boxes and more for the small team that were to undertake a military charity walking event over the weekend. The hospitality provided was unsurpassed, including a wonderful welcome tray of goodies. The house is beautiful, well maintained and cozy. 10 out of 10 doesn't do this residence justice. Would return at the drop of a hat.
Rannagulzion Lodge was a beautiful presented accommodation. It was very well equipped and the owners had thought of everything. The lodge was lovely and clean and in a super rural location, close to a quiet road and the Cataran Trail. We were met by Veronica and Stephan and who showed us around the property. They were very kind and helpful. I would certainly love to go back to both the lodge and the area. Thank you Veronica for making our stay so special.
We had a fantastic staycation here the house was immaculate and had a great courtyard for food and drinks everything was perfect we will definitely be back. Great hosts, perfect quiet retreat
Veronia and Stephen have made an excellent job of fitting out the cottage to a very high standard. So clean we thought we were the first guests.has everything we needed.
This very well maintained rural property was a great getaway. My husband and I along with 2 other couples hired Rannagulzion Lodge for a weekend break and catch up now that covid restrictions have lifted. We were met at the property by the owner and her husband who showed us round the fantastic courtyard, 2 great living areas and a modern kitchen . Bedrooms and bathroom and a shower room were all perfect for all our needs. We went in to Blairgowrie (5 miles) for a meal on one of the days but we made use of all the facilities at the lodge sitting in the sun having a bbq. Would highly recommend this property.
We had a truly brilliant time at Rannagulzion Lodge! The house is beautifully situated in the countryside with views, scenery and nature, which allowed us to really relax and enjoy our time away. The house is also beautifully furnished and very clean and tidy, with stunning bathrooms and a modern kitchen with everything provided for. Veronica was fantastic as our host and we really couldn’t ask for anything else! Thank you so much,
The Boys
We had a gorgeous stay in a clean, cozy and well equipped cottage. The courtyard is perfect for dining and relaxing when the sun is out and the underfloor heating in the bathroom adds to the luxurious feel. The house is situated just outside the Cairngorm national park which makes it a great location to explore the park and Blairgowrie is 15 mins drive to pick up supplies and eat out nearer home. Veronica recommended Little’s, which we loved- really good food and the church setting was special. Thanks Veronica and Stefan for a lovely stay. We hope to stay again!
A fantastic cottage, spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and kitted out with all modern equipment. Location is beautiful and quiet, just what were were wanting. Would thoroughly recommend and we hope to visit again.
We had a super stay, the lodge was well equipped, very warm and comfortable. We particularly liked the under floor heating and roll too bath.

About the host
Hosted by Mrs Veronica Bruce-Rowlands
Formative years was spent outside the UK but attended university here, lived and worked in various organisations in the City of London and Westminster as an Executive Private Personal Assitant.for 37 years.
I believe that my Scottish ancestry pulled us over here. Our son still lives in London and works there.
My good half, my solid rock, is an Economics Engineer, speaks fluent German and some Spanish. We are very pleasant, peaceful happy people who believe in harmony because Life is just too short so our Motto is: Live and lets Live. We always endeavour to be helpful and kind as much as we can but quite private as well albeit approachable.
Why they chose this property
Owing to my Scottish ancestry(albeit do not look anything Scottish), we have holidayed here many times and met with the head of my family and clan. I have always had the urge to relocate up here. Scottish people are very nice and kind when you get to know them. I love the environment and all that it has to offer, especially the natural beauty, Deer, Pheasants, Red Squirrels, the different species of birds - Falcons, Bussons, Starlights, etc the Drimmie Burn, the landscape, few wild animals like Cats and Foxes etc. The views are just so amazing. We have Clean mountain air to breathe, changes of season - we at times have all 3 in one day. The beauty it offers can never be bought. Pure and natural. Ah we have the pleasure of being delighted and having the satisfaction of seeing the rare occasional sightings of 'the Eagle' the graceful, powerful, mesmerising amazing soaring Eagle. We cant's ask for more really! We are happy and all our neighbours are great.
What makes this property unique
We are situated on top of Glen Ericht and taking a walk around the area really makes you see how beautiful and wonderful the whole environmment is. Our house is not far from the Lodge and we have the most amazing views that money can never buy. It is just plain awesome. On a good clear day, one can see the Lomond hills from my bedroom window. I never get bored just sitting and staring out of the window at such beauty of the Glen, looking at the falling snow right now, all white around us and so peaceful, even the rain and the glorious sunshine especially in the summer months when it sets so late, at times at 10.45 pm, the scenery is just oh so magical which everyone should experience.
