It enjoys the most beautiful views over the surrounding countryside on one side but head out of the front door in the other direction and you're in the heart of this beautiful hilltop town.

The Space:
Inside, this Spello apartment rental has a bedroom, open plan living, dining and kitchen area as well as a bathroom whilst outside there is a private terrace enjoying incredible views over Umbria's rolling hills. The apartment measures 50 square metres.

The living room has a stylish yellow wall at one end. A comfortable sofa is positioned here with bright yellow cushions along with an adjacent armchair and coffee table. On the opposite wall is a contrasting dark grey kitchen as well as a circular dining table seating four. The corner kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, electric hob, dishwasher, coffee machine, fridge with freezer, kettle, toaster and a small washing machine. It's a beautiful yet calming space in which to relax. The colourful artwork and furnishings were carefully selected by the owner on her extensive travels around the world whilst bright rugs contrast and add colour against the dark wooden flooring. A TV is mounted on the wall offering Sky TV channels.

French doors open from this room onto a panoramic balcony that overlooks the hills of the Chiona valley. Two chairs and a table provide seating from which to relax and enjoy the views.

A door also leads from this room of this Spello apartment rental to a large bedroom with a king-size bed and a spacious wardrobe. A baby bed can be placed in the bedroom for those travelling with an infant.

Finally, there is a large, modern bathroom equipped with walk-in shower, toilet and a sink.

Stepping out the front door, you will be in the central square of picturesque Spello in a few minutes. Spello is one of the best preserved medieval towns in Umbria with inviting narrow streets and an authentic atmosphere.

The Neighborhood:
Spello is a beautiful town situated in the green heart of Umbria. Spello has a peacefulness and elegance about it that you can't fail to fall in love with, whilst the town's restaurants are famed for their superb cuisine and excellent wines.

It also makes an excellent base from which to explore the wider area. Orvieto, Todi, Citta di Castello, Gubbio and Spoleto are all within easy reach along with the highly praised wine producing region of Montefalco. There are numerous activities to enjoy too including horse riding, hiking, cycling, rafting and sailing as well as cross-country skiing in the Winter, making it an ideal holiday destination all year round.

Please note that, effective 1 June 2023, the municipality of Spello has imposed a city tax of 2.50 euros per person per night. This must be paid locally on arrival in cash. Please also note that a cleaning fee of 150 euros is also payable locally on arrival in cash.

Getting Around:
A car is not necessary since you are within walking distance of plenty of shops and restaurants. You can also hire bikes locally should you wish to explore the area on two wheels.
