Shipwrights is an expertly designed apartment just moments from the heart of Whitby. This two bedroom apartment features high end fixtures and fittings and luxury interiors. If you are looking for a relaxing space to enjoy while exploring Whitby and North Yorkshire, Shipwrights is the ideal retreat for families, friends and couples.
The Space:
Shipwrights has a bright and spacious open plan kitchen, living and dining space. With a neutral colour scheme complemented beautifully with accents of blue, there is a truly relaxing feel. Light floods in from the patio doors at either end of the room which you can open to let the outside in.
The apartment also has two stylish bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king size bed and the second room is a double. Both spaces have plush soft furnishings and premium bed linens to create a comfortable feel.
With textured wall tiles and patterned flooring, Shipwrights boasts a modern bathroom. The ideal setup for families, it has a bath with overhead shower, WC and basin.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
There will be one allocated parking space at the complex which can be used for the duration of your stay.
The Neighborhood:
The centre of Whitby, and Whitby Harbour are just a few short steps away from Shipwrights, so it’s ideal if you want to enjoy a break by the sea.
The area is famous for the quality of its fish and chip restaurants, and there are plenty of places where you can sink your teeth into a fresh catch. When you fancy a drink, you’ll find a variety of bars as well as pubs and shops in the local area.
Whitby is also famous for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’. You’ll find plenty of sites near the apartment with historic interest relating to the story. The main inspiration can be found at the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey.
Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. In particular, Dalby Forest and Guisborough Forest, just a drive away and they both have various beautiful walking and cycling routes to explore.
Getting Around:
Shipwrights is just a short walk to the town centre, harbour and Whitby train station. Villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.
There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.
