Your group will enjoy gathering at A Smoky Hideaway cabin in the great room with gas fireplace or as a group in the home theater room with surround sound, tiered seating and 9 foot theater screen with projector. The upper level game room with pool table, foosball, classic arcade game with 200+ games and wet bar provides a great entertainment room. Relax on your covered deck on a porch rocker or soak in the 101 degree hot tub.

5 bedrooms, 4 baths, sleeper sofa and DVD and TV's in each bedroom and sitting area. For your convenience, this cabin is also equipped with a washer and dryer and full kitchen including toaster, mixer, blender, coffee maker, microwave and dishwasher.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the cabin was very nice. Only problems was the high number of Japanese beetles inside the house, they were everywhere. Also the big game machine was hard to understand and didn't work on some games. We loved the theater room. If these problems are addressed it would be a perfect place to stay.

Beautiful setting in the Smokies

The accommodations were well suited for our large family. The cabin was located in good proximity of downtown Gatlinburg and many other attractions. Was disappointed that the arcade system wasn’t working and it took two maintenance calls to get the home theatre up and running. Our calls were responded to quickly and everyone was friendly and helpful and an adjustment was made due to the issues we had. Overall, our family had a great time.

Arrived on Sunday reported to Elk Spring non working Arcady broke pool table. We left a day early due to not getting fixed so the kids could have something to do. Kitchen stove was dirty.and we had to clean before using. Not enough parking as the description stated for the cabin. All issues was reported nothing got fixed nothing got taken care of oh but they did refund $172 for our horrible stay.

Wonderful Cabin

Reviewer Comments: I have been coming to Elk Springs Resort for three years and of the three cabins I have stayed in, I would rate A Smoky Hideaway as one of the best. The kitchen was well equipped. The theater room and game room was top notch. Also the layout of the bedrooms was great for my family.....downstairs with the three bedrooms was like a little apartment for my daughter’s family with 4 children while my husband and I took the main floor and my single door took the upstairs bedroom. The only issue (which really was not an issue for us at this time) is the driveway. It is somewhat steep and I would imagine in the winter with ice it may be a problem. But it does level at the top so your car is parked flat. I would definitely stay at this cabin again. It was clean, well maintained, and well stocked.

We were a little disappointed - the cabin needs some attention. We had issues with the theater - could only get the picture or the sound but not both at the same time. The dishwasher needs to be replaced - the soap dispenser would not close and the heating element looked like it burned the door. The kitchen faucet had a constant drip. There were crumbs on the downstairs bedroom floor. For a large cabin, parking was not available. We had 3 cars to juggle in the driveway.The cabin was well stocked in the kitchen. As I said earlier, this is the first time we've been disappointed.

I explained to the management company that no one had come to clean the cabin since the last guest check out. There were dishes in the sink, dirty towels in the floor, none of the beds had been changed. The most disgusting finding was a bag of poop in the bathroom. I was told housekeeping would be by the next day and no one ever came. They don’t want to refund my money and the cabin was absolutely nasty. Don’t rent through this property management complaint. I wish I could leave pictures with this review. Absolutely the worse experience ever!

There were 2 beds that looked and smelled like the sheets were not washed. Also the kitchen items were not clean. I called for more trash bags and was told to go to the dollar store. To me, trash bags are a basic for a luxury cabin. We weren’t camping! So if the basics are provided like pots pans and towels, why not trash bags? Lastly, I received a text that the cabin was ready at 10:30. If I had known it would be ready early we would have left Atlanta earlier to get there sooner. Instead we got there at 3pm. I wonder if it was ready so early because it was not really cleaned. Overall as someone who goes to cabins every year I was disappointed. Never had this experience with any other rental company.

We stayed at A Smoky Hideaway, which is a nice 5 bedroom, 4 full bathroom cabin spread over 3 levels. Elk Springs is a nice distance from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Close to a local grocery store, which saves us from bringing food with us. Upstairs is a pool table, foosball, an arcade game and theater room with theatre seating to keep you busy for hours. One bedroom is located here with a queen bed. The basement had a sitting area, 3 bedrooms with king sized bunk beds in one room and king beds in the other two. The main floor has the living space, kitchen and final bedroom with a queen bed. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Everyone had privacy when they wanted it, or could hang out together when wanted.We got a text the day before our trip to give us information. Another one the day of to ask our arrival time. We then got one after arriving with a welcoming. We got one message midweek advising us of high winds and to place items inside. Lastly on the night before checkout a message to thank us for staying, some instructions for check-out. We arrived on Sunday and left on Saturday, so they don’t bother you while you’re there. We had one request while there, and they took care of it promptly and informed us when it scheduled and when it was addressed. Always polite and respectful and thanking us. Overall excellent stay, which we have come to expect. Thank you staff at Elk Springs Resort for a great vacation.

The worst vacation resort I have ever dealt with

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a horrible vacation due due wet carpet, molded shower curtains and sheets, poor service. This resort failed to fulfill its promise of provided a relaxing vacation with luxury cabins and high product service. The cabin had a bedroom with wet carpet and furniture due to a care taker not properly emptying the hot tub. A shop fan was brought at 6 pm and ran all night in the room which made so much noise no one could sleep in it. There was mold on the shower curtain in the downstairs bedroom along with molded sheets in the closet. Bat droppings we’re found in the upstairs bedroom along with nesting material that had to be vacuum. The bat was still in the cabin room and we had to spend two nights unable to use this room. Half way through the vacation they decided to move us to a new cabin that wasn’t where close to the cabin we were in and did not have access to a swimming pool. We spent that whole day packing, unpacking, and traveling. The resort did absolutely nothing to compensate for all of the issues. We could not even make personal contact with a manager.

Lower level had 3 bedrooms with 2 baths, pullout that would sleep 1. Middle section has bedroom with one bath room and spacious living quarters, upper level has one bedroom with bath and gaming area and home theater. We also rented Serenity cabin right beside this one. They were 10-15 feet apart which worked out wonderful. Would recommend and would book again. Easy drive to Food City and downtown Gatlinburg.

Nice stay

The cabin housed 14 people beautifully. We did have an issue with the upstairs A/C but the management company was very responsive and had it fixed two ours after we arrived. The cabin can use a little updating or finishing touches; dishwasher missing a part to the handle that locks the door; toilet seats are old and worn; broken chair at the kitchen island. Nothing major. Setting is perfect and beautiful. Never could get the arcade to work but we enjoyed pool and foosball (although the foosball table needs attention. We wish we would have known to bring our own DVD's for the theater room. But, all that being said, it was a very nice place to stay for two nights. We had 8 adults and 6 kids ages 2-10.
