Newland Cottage

Newland which sleeps eight in - three twins and one double is a gloriously relaxed and beautifully designed cottage with staggeringly beautiful views over Harlyn Bay - one of Cornwall's iconic family beaches.

The large upstairs living room overlooks the beach which is some 200 yards away. This room and large family kitchen links to Stepper (1139629) both upstairs and downstairs via soundproof interconnecting doors; making the combined properties into a 12 person rental.

The house is linked to the bay by a short pathway at the end of Sandy Lane. so it's safe for children.

Ample parking for 5 cars on site matches a garden big enough for games and relaxing in the sunshine out of the wind.

The house is the epitome of old fashioned, relaxed beach holidays brought into the 21st Century.

The changeover day is Thursday, but there is flexibility out of season for weekend and special breaks. Duvets and pillows provided, please bring own bed linen and towels.

Beautifully designed and with panoramic views out to sea, the cottages of Newland and Stepper offer flexible accommodation to suit all budgets and group size. Hired individually, Newland & Stepper offer entirely private living, both inside and out. Hired together they can accommodate up to 12 adults in comfort - perfect for big families . Both homes are well equipped, centrally heated and extremely comfortable.
Newland sleeps 8 with one double bedroom and three twin rooms.
Stepper (1139629) sleeps 4 in two twin rooms with en-suite bathrooms.

Situated just over 4 miles from the port of Padstow, a jewel on the North Cornish coast, the cottages are a short walk down a private path leading to the golden sands and safe bathing of Harlyn Bay; while across the headland lies the exposed beaches of Constantine Bay and Boobys and the championship links of Trevose Golf Course.

Lovely house by the sea with stunning views

Nice end of Yule tide two night break with family. We had lots of walks down the sandy lane and path to the beach.

Newland Harlyn Bay

Spacious, clean, great view

We absolutely loved our Christmas stay here. The house is very well equipped and the location is just perfect for coastal walks and short car trips to other bays. We are a family of five and grandparents came with us and we all had plenty of space and everyone commented on how great the house was. Thank you for having us.

Great house in a gorgeous location

Newland is a lovely house, really home from home, the owners have thought of everything. In a lovely location too with views over the bay and so convenient to just walk down the road and have access to the beach. We will be back!

Home from home

Thank you Clare for a fabulous stay in your beautiful house! We were a fairly big group yet the house is so well laid out with everything we could need so it didn't feel crowded at all. When you add to that the wonderful location & peaceful aspect, it's no wonder we didn't want to leave. The house was spotless with plenty of comfortable furniture & very comprehensive cooking facilities. I will be visiting again as soon as possible with my family & know they will love it as much as I did!

Comfortable, spacious property with amazing views

A very comfortable, spacious and well-appointed property in a glorious position, with sweeping views over Harlyn Bay. The property was clean and well-equipped. A perfect place to unwind, yet within day reach of the amenities of Padstow and beyond. Will definitely aim to return there.

The kitchen dining area was ideal as it had a large table to eat on but also to play games in the evening,it opened onto a lovely decked area which caught the morning sun and was lovely to eat breakfast. Absolutely Stunning Holiday home!!

We took both Newland and Stepper for 10 of us revisiting Cornwall over the new Year in 2013 after many years away. Wonderful houses, so warm, cosy and well appointed with incredible position. The main rooms look straight out on Harlyn Bay at the surf and surfers. We could not have asked for a more perfect place to stay. Many long walks on the stunning coastal paths and managed to visit many old haunts and favourite places. Can't wait to come back to these houses and cannot recommend them highly enough - if I could give 6 stars I would!!

Fantastic, love the decking and access to the beac

All fabulous, so great to take a smaller property but having the same facilities as a larger house. Brilliant for an add on to Newland,even though my family have rented both house separately, and on other occasions jointly. A great little bolt hole. The Hamptons

Newland is perfect any time of year! Go there.

Marvellous . My family have stayed there since it was available to rent 2001.We have done summer, Christmas,Easter ,mid week,all weather conditions. Newland and Stepper taken separarately or together are fab! My only regret is leaving, but we always book again book again . The access to one of the best beaches around, and off a private path. We have had all generations staying, Christmas 3 times.!! The houses are so easy to use for a holiday home. Love it. Hampton Family
