Town: Resting in East Devon upon the River Exe estuary is the village of Lympstone. The village boasts a good number of pubs, shops and restaurants, alongside a local landmark of Peter's Tower, a riverfront brick clock tower enjoying a lovely outlook over the water. The coast isn't too far, around 5 miles down to the Blue Flag award winning Sandy Bay Beach, whilst adventures along the River Exe can be enjoyed with bike rides along the Exeter to Exmouth cycle route, with walks in the nearby East Devon AONB.
