About this property
Luxurious home with stunning view of Trawbreaga Bay
This truly is a luxurious home with remarkable panoramic views from the sea to the lush countryside it is set in. This home is situated in Trawbreaga Bay, a Special Protection Area along the Wild Atlantic Way.
The bay is home to over-wintering birds particularly the Barnacle Geese and a rare Clough Roost so this is a very diverse and scenic spot off the coast of the Inishowen peninsula.
The house is less than a minutes walk to the bay where you can greet some lively crabs and other sea life as the tide comes in. There's also plenty left behind when the tide abates again such as the locally coined 'black shells' or mussels. Every visit to the bay is an adventure in itself and a must for visitors.
The property comprises of an open plan kitchen with large dining area and ultra modern decor and appliances. There is a large inviting sitting room with a bespoke stone fireplace and open fire, perfect for those chillier Irish days. From this room you can enjoy a vista which stretches as far as the eye can see starting with the ever-changing colours of the Atlantic Ocean, across to the hills of Malin Town, and outwards to the narrow strait at the Isle of Doagh peninsula. A truly spectacular view.
There are 3 spacious double bedrooms on the ground floor with access to a main bathroom, shower and bath. Guests also have a spacious utility space to store additional items, shoes and so on.
On the first floor, there is a top of the range games room with pristine pool table and table tennis table. Here guests can enjoy games indoors on rainier days. This is a real treat and adds another level to the guest experience in the property.
The property is a short 5 minute drive to Carndonagh, a busy market and shopping town. You can grab all your essentials there or relax and eat in one of the many fine eateries there.
