Yewbarrow Cottage is a semi-detached property resting in Grange-Over-Sands, Cumbria. It comes with three bedrooms, comprising of a super-king-size bed, (zip/link, can be twins on request), a double and a ground-floor double, together sleeping up to six people and served by a family bathroom and a ground-floor shower room. Completing the interior is a kitchen, a sitting room with a woodburning stove and a conservatory/diner. Outside, there is off-road parking for two cars, a rear garden with table and chairs, and front garden area with bistro table. Yewbarrow Cottage is an exceptional base for a holiday to Cumbria.
Amenities: Gas central heating plus open fire.Range cooker with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, Smart TV and WiFi. Note: Externally there are four steps leading to the front of the property however there is level access to the rear for those with mobility issues. Fuel and power inc. in rent plus starter pack for open fire. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and high chair available. Off-road parking for three cars. Large rear elevated garden seating area with table and chairs, and small front garden area with bistro table and chairs. Secure locked back yard area for bikes and outdoor equipment. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 0.2 miles. The promenade and facilities of Grange are a four-minute walk away, either walk down through the woods opposite the cottage or follow the road downhill for 300 metres to the centre of town. The village of Cartmel with its racecourse, fine dining, excellent pubs and quirky shops is a 5-minute drive away or, if you are feeling energetic, a 45 minute walk over Hampsfell Hill. Grange over Sands railway station is a 5 minute walk away (through the woods) or 8 minutes along the road, the train goes round the bay to Arnside, Morecambe and Lancaster, trains from Euston station can reach Grange in under 3 hours with one change at Lancaster.
