About this property

Designer retreat with pool in Bellport Village

Fully renovated 3BR, 2BA with heated salt water pool in large backyard. One block from shops and restaurants, and short walk to marina and ferry to private beach on Fire Island.

Three bedrooms with queen size beds, and new queen air mattress sleeper sofa in family room upstairs. Open with lots of light, the family room has skylights, living room a wood burning fireplace, and dining room seats 8-10 people. Peloton in downstairs bedroom. Outside are dining table and chairs, grill, and lounges, as well as security cameras with automatic lights.

Furniture, appliances, amenities are new (except for a few beautiful vintage pieces from my family). Photos are a mix from when setting up (photographer friend) and updated ones with my iPhone.

This is a weekend retreat that I loved so much I moved in full time and now rent once a year when away. The home is modern, airy and relaxing -- a retreat with all the comforts of a home.

Amenities include: A/C and Heat, Peloton, Heated Salt Water Pool, WiFi, TV / DVD player / Chromecast, Washer/Dryer, Microwave, Dishwasher, Coffee Machine, Blender, Toaster, Soda Stream, BBQ Grill, Alarm, Driveway for 2 cars (Garage for 1 car for longer rentals only).

Utilities and maintenance: guests under 2 weeks responsible for electricity; over 2 weeks responsible for all. 3% occupancy tax will be added to rate.

No smoking or parties.

Bellport is a lovely village with private beach, restaurants, shops, galleries, summer theater and outdoor concerts. Easy walk to everything. Ask about access to tennis and golf at the country club and ferry to private beach on Fire Island. Nature preserves and other outdoor attractions also nearby. It's about 80 minutes driving from NYC or by train (LIRR) from Penn Station, or 1 hour from JFK and LGA airports (20 min from Islip airport). Happy to provide any more information!

Excellent!

Alissa’s house has a beautiful heated saltwater pool, is a 2-minute walk into town with shops and restaurants, and a 10-minute walk to the Bellport marina. Upstairs is a large bedroom with a very comfortable bed, a bathroom with a great shower, and a TV/reading room with a balcony overlooking the lovely landscaped lawn and pool. It was a great place to work and to enjoy leisure time. Downstairs is another bathroom with a tub, and two additional bedrooms. The kitchen is open and a joy to cook in, with a large dining table in front of glass sliding doors leading to the backyard and pool. A nice deck featured another table for al fresco dining. We also enjoyed using the grill. All is immaculately clean. Alissa was the perfect host. She left detailed notes about the house, the town, things to do, and places to go. She made her house feel like our house. We enjoyed our time there immensely and look forward to coming back again.

Awesome rental and amazing host!

I rented Alisa's house with my husband and son and two other couples. The house is newly renovated and very well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to make multiple gourmet meals, the lawn was nicely manicured and the pool was heated. Alisa was extremely communicative and took care of everything we needed. Bellport is a cute town and the house is a very short walk to the mains trip with restaurants and stores. We will definitely be renting again next summer!

Absolutely fantastic!!!

Alissa’s house was well equipped and made for the perfect summer rental. It was comfortable, bright and airy- the heated pool was divine and we loved everything about it (except the mosquitoes which were quite bad). Thank you Alissa for a fabulous August, we will be back!

Perfect cozy home!

The house was true to its description as a designer retreat - new, lovely, beautiful, open and warm (even in cold winter). Great home for entertaining and just lounging. Having stayed at other VRBO homes in Bellport, we really appreciated a modern and updated space. Kitchen had all the modern conveniences and was really well-stocked. 2-zone Nest system kept us comfortable. Sonos system was great and we really liked having the play/tv area upstairs. Perfect location walking distance to everything in town. Alissa the owner was so nice, responsive and caring - you can tell she really loves the home and wants those who stay there to love it too. We can't wait to come back and use it in summer to get to use the pool and large back yard!

Excellent place for relaxing vacation

Adorable house that was perfect for our family vacation with teenagers. The pictures showed the house were exactly as wonderfully updated as it is. Quiet neighborhood close to a cute town with fun shops, good restaurants and close to seafood shops, farm fresh produce stands. Fully stocked with eveything new to cook a great meal, wash clothes and comfortable beds for sleeping in. Owner is fantastic with quick responses, list of everything needed and wonderful hospitality. I definitely recommend and will stay again!
