Come and enjoy Trondra House set on the edge of the picture postcard coastal village of Ferryside on the mouth of the estuary where the river Towy joins the Carmarthen Bay Ferryside’s history is unique and today it still possesses a charm and character. A five minute walk away is the beach and all facilities including a pub, restaurant (offers coffee in the mornings) and swimming pool. This is the perfect base for exploring South West Wales with sandy beaches and wonderful countryside in abundance. You can even arrange a quiet lunch at the weekend at the local rugby club.
The Millennium Coastal Park footpath runs from Ferryside and visits the rugged coves, stunning beaches and dramatic coastline this area has to offer, and is perfect by foot or cycle and runs for 14 miles passing Kidwelly, Burry Port and onto Llanelli. Trondra House is set on a small cul-de-sac of similar properties and is a superb holiday base offering spacious accommodation throughout.
On the ground floor the open plan living/kitchen/dining area offers a great social space with solid wood floors and flooded with light from the French doors which lead onto the conservatory, where you can enjoy an early morning coffee whilst watching the plethora of birdlife feeding. On the first floor the bright and airy master bedroom boasts a Juliet balcony; both bedrooms have been lovingly furnished with a good nights sleep in mind. The bathroom is ideal to rest those muscles after a busy day sightseeing with a large double-ended bath or enjoy the spacious walk-in double shower. On those warm summer evenings enjoy sitting outside with a BBQ with your family.
A trip to the coastal walled town of Tenby is around a 45 minute drive, here your family can discover the cobbled streets; take a boat trip to Caldey Island to see the Cistercian monks; take a swim or enjoy fish and chips on the harbour walls. Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm Zoo and Heatherton World of Adventure, are also a nearby fantastic day out. Beach 1 mile.
