We had a wonderful weekend break here which delivered all aspects of what we were looking for; cosy, comfortable, rural and peaceful, with the added delight of the gorgeous pigs, hens and dogs on the yard that became a must for my pup to go visit each morning. There are some really beautiful walks from the yard and beyond the many fields, with some places nearby worth visiting by car. The cottage itself was warm and cosy with everything that you could need, with plenty of added extras. Great stay and highly recommended, Sophie was a fabulous host, we felt very welcome. Thanks again!
The property has come under new ownership, of which their hospitality has been most welcoming. The small array of stone cottages is picture-perfect, with a patio outside each with barbecue. We went with our dog, who loved it and would have been quite happy to stay there sunbathing on the patio all summer. The choice of the location was namely to find somewhere quiet, this it definitely achieved. You may see on the maps a quarry close by, you won't notice it. The most noise is the rare tractor or a rather vocal sheep.
Overall, highly recommended and missing it already!
