Chalet des Neiges Oz 3300 by pistes & lifts, two bedrooms, ski Alpe d’Huez

4 star apartment in Chalet des Neiges Bouquetin building, two bedrooms, first has a king-size bed, second has two single beds and there is a single/double sofa bed in the living room. It has a bathroom with bath with a shower and a seperate toilet. You ski out to the Poutran lift to Alpe d'Huez or the Alpette lift to Vaujany and Pic Blanc. You ski back to the ski room when you return to Oz. It's a warm, cozy 41m2 apartment with underfloor heating and a large balcony facing the piste.
The space
The kitchinette has an extra work surface on a cupboard unit called a passe-plats to enable you to prepare meals. This unit also provides extra storage and can be used as a breakfast bar. There is a slow cooker with a metal "searing"pan so you can brown ingredients on the hob and then put a stew on to cook while you are out skiing. There is also a griddle pan and an air fryer if you like steak frites. You can also purchase a half board or evening meal package from the Ferme d'Oz restaurant in Chalet des Neiges if you prefer not to cook.
Guest access
you have the whole apartment. There is a lift from the ground floor, since the building is built into the mountain side, the flat balcony is at piste level also. There is a swimming pool, sauna & gym in the Chalet des Neiges complex which you can use free of charge all week except Saturdays.
I will aim to welcome you when you arrive so you can move in and get your skis, provided there has been time to clean the flat! Contact me well in advance. If you want to ski on your last day you can leave your bags in the ski locker, you do need to return the parking pass and keys at 10am, there is usually plenty of parking early on a saturday morning.
Other things to note
Oz is simply the best place to stay in the Alpe d'Huez ski area because there are two high speed lifts which wisk you to 2100m. Alpette takes you to the gentle Montfrais ski area, the Fare black run and the cable car up to 2800m and then to the cable car to 3300m and the Sarenne 10 mile black run.. Poutran takes you to Alpe d'Huez and you can ski directly to the lifts to Auris and Villard Reculas.
Oz is also the closest resort to Grenoble or Lyon airports to ski thé Alpe d’Huez Grande Domaine, thé shortest transfer
