About this property

Located just above Beverly beach, This cute , 1200 sf, one level ranch boasts 3 Bedrooms and 2 full baths. all decorated in a beach theme. It’s located just a very short walk to the beach through Beverly beach state park just below. The romantic master bedroom has a king size canopy bed with a luxury pillow top mattress and private bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and the third bedroom has a full and twin sized bed. There is a private deck for sitting or eating out side that is attached to the house. There is a full kitchen with all the amenities of home. For evening entertainment , there is a DVD library, board games and puzzles to play with and a TV with Roku and DVD player in the living room. This house is just waiting for family fun, with many beautiful beaches nearby and the bay is a short drive away. A movie theater, restaurants, aquarium, golf and shopping are just minutes away. The bay in Newport offers boating, crabbing and gorgeous views from local restaurants and shops. Check out both light houses in Newport. Hint... one is reportedly haunted.

We have replaced all the flooring ,trim and sliding glass door in the main sections of the house. Both bathrooms were remodeled 2 years ago with beautiful tiles and new fixtures. There is New furniture in the living room and new mattresses in the bedrooms for your comfort, and all the decor has a nautical, beach theme giving the house a wonderful beachy feel. We have also replaced the deck with all new beautiful Cedar and solar lights on the posts. The kitchen was updated last summer.

In compliance to OSHA standards we are wiping down all high touch areas with an approved sanitizer. I have a high end commercial rated air purifier running 24/7 to provide the highest level of cleanliness I can for your safety. Towels and linens will be exchanged each new rental and cleaned in accordance to approved cleaning standards. Cleaning supplies will be in the house for you to use if you so chose to add another measure of comfort. We want you to enjoy our beautiful home and your family getaway!

Quiet and cozy

We just stayed for 2 nights for Thanksgiving. It was very clean, beds were comfortable and the nights were quiet. Complementary bar soaps would be great for next time. Would stay there again.

Holiday Getaway

This house was perfect for our family vacation. Plenty of room for the 7 of us. Beverly Beach was closed for construction, but there was plenty to do within a short drive.

Wonderful home to have a great vacation!

Our family loved the time spent in this vacation home, had everything we needed to make it home away from home and explore Newport area. House is well decorated with beach decor and we spent evenings in the backyard around the fire pit. Would recommend it highly!

Cozy home

The house is cute and very inviting. Decor is beautifully picked sea theme. Backyard was wonderful, my kids enjoyed it. Everything was easily accessible, it was quiet area. Its a great place to stay. Our host was very hospitable.

This was a perfect little home for our group of 6 -affordable option that is conveniently located. We loved the proximity to Beverly Beach state park, and also a short drive to Lincoln City or Newport.

Great location. Wonderful dinner at Local Sea Food in Newport.

Location is very good. Quiet. Some window screens were missing. Appreciated the air purifier and no pets rule.

Great central location

We had a fantastic stay, and enjoyed how close it was to the Highway to travel up and down the coast. House was pleasant, but didn’t spend a lot of time there. We just needed a place to rest our heads in the evening. It met all of our needs and Shannon was very easy to work with. Would stay again and again!

Clean, comfortable (little hard for old people to get into the bed, but once accomplished was great!

Nice and clean, well stocked, easy check in and out. The one thing I think should be changed is beginning view of property shows the Newport bridge so at first we assumed it was located close to that.

Good kitchen. Dated bathroom. Would not recommend for those needing an accessible shower. Toilet was very slow to refill. Master bed is very tall and no chair was provided for putting on shoes and socks. The host is very helpful and friendly. Good access to the State park. Very quiet location. Add-on fees such as required insurance seem deceptive when booking online. Well-maintained property. Overall it met our needs.

Great House!

This wasn’t somewhere we stayed often but when we did it was very cozy and nice to come back to after a busy day at the beach or in town! The fact that it had a full functioning kitchen was nice the only downfall was the cleanliness of some of the appliances which were still usable but if someone is getting paid to clean they should be doing a better job otherwise this stay couldn’t have been more perfect for our weekend getaway!

All we expected and more!

We felt like we were staying right at home. With a good sized living room it was perfect for our family group to visit and share good times and conversations. The extra large dining room table suited us well for meals and game night, next to a modern kitchen, which was well stocked for our every need. And to top it off, the four-posted king canopy bed in the master bedroom was coupled with a super comfy mattress. The place was also decorated very nicely. Great first VRBO experience for sure!

Very well set up for family time.

We enjoyed our family time at the house with the BBQ, fire pit and deck in the back. The close proximity to Beverly beach was nice for low tide exploration and kite flying. We went on some outings and found the house to be in a good location to go north to Depot Bay and Lincoln City as well as south to Newport and Seal Rock. The kitchen was clean and roomy enough for a couple of us to prepare meals at one time. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The livingroom and dining area were perfect for gathering together. We didn't use them, but there were lots of DVDs and board games to enjoy. It was a good rental house for sure, but I will mention a couple of negatives. The living room area rug and master bedroom have pet stains, the driveway is tight for more than two bigger vehicles and (no fault of the owner) the house across the street is overgrown and junky. When we pulled up, seeing the immediate neighbors we were pretty leery of what we were getting into. However, once inside we were pleasantly relieved and we relaxed about bringing our family here. Thank you to the owner for sharing your rental with us for a fun family vacation.

Not a great home for family with small children.

We arrived at 5pm an hour after check in and it took us an hour and a half to reach the owner for the code to enter. Being locked out for an hour and a half with two 4 year olds and a 4 month old was not fun. The owner did buy us 2 pizzas for the trouble. The home does not have a washer and dryer which is a problem taking small children to the beach each day. It is my fault for not noticing it in the listing. The blinds and the rug in the family room were very dirty. There were not enough garbage bags for our stay. My husband went to the store to buy more and dish soap. The home was not well stocked with towels either and without a washer and dryer that is a problem. We have stayed in many VRBO homes and never had these problems. I would not recommend this home.

Thanksgiving family time

We stayed at this lovely home, tucked up in the woods above Beverly Beach. The house was lovely. Nice decor and super comfy beds. It was a great fit for our 2 families (8 people total). Kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and cookware. Everything was very nice. The owner took the time to call me a few days before to make sure I understood how to get into the house. I would definitely rent this house again.

Short walk to Beverly Beach

Wonderful house! Good location! House was very clean. There were 7 of us and we all slept comfortably. The short walk to Beverly Beach was amazing. Lots of movies to watch and board games to play. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Shannon!

Vacation from Idaho

It was nice to have own space. We went out in the morning and explored from Lincoln City to Newport. We were able to cook at home if we wanted and it had everything we needed to cook. We bought paper plates for easier clean up. Thank you again. This was a great way for us to enjoy the coast

This house was my Grandmas house and I grew up coming to this beach Since I was young. I have so many great memories of this place and hope you can create some new ones for your self.

What makes this property unique

The house is located right above Beverly beach state park with a very nice free day use area with bathrooms and picnic tables. You can drive down to the park and unload from there. This state park's camping area is so popular its usually full all summer.
