Adjoining the living room you have a well-equipped kitchen, this room has lots of character with a large range cooker centre stage. The kitchen conveniently leads through to a raised dining room with a long table where you can all gather over meals, raising a toast to a holiday to remember. The enclosed patio is at the rear of the property, with seating to enjoy the sun. Upstairs on the first floor are two double bedrooms. The front master bedroom overlooks historic Princess Street. In the rear bedroom, the quirky feature in this room are the steps leading to nowhere, they were once the original stairs in the property, now used as shelves for ornaments and books. Follow the stairs up to the second floor and here you will find a further two bedrooms, a twin as well as a smaller room with an additional bed for added flexible sleeping, with Smart TV.
Just a short stroll and you are on the lively South Bay. You can walk from here along the promenade to the quieter North Bay. The two bays have lovely, large sandy beaches making them perfect for your family holiday. You are also near to Scarborough Castle as well as restaurants and the funfair on the seafront. Peasholm Park is wonderful to discover, you can hire pedaloes and rowing boats to go around the lake and see the stunning oriental gardens. Scarborough is famous for its theatres. There is an outdoor theatre which stages concerts by some of music’s big names, and then there is the Stephen Joseph Theatre which is famous for the premieres of Alan Ayckbourn’s plays.
The Alpamare waterpark is great for all ages, with its fantastic wave pool and waterslides, as well as a large heated outdoor infinity pool. Keep younger children entertained with the ’splash and play’ area. For adults, there is a spa where you can relax and be pampered. The heated outdoor pools are warm enough to enjoy through all the seasons. Further along the coast, you have Filey, Flamborough, Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby to discover, all fabulous for days out. For nature lovers you have the RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs, the North Yorkshire Moors National Park as well as the wonderful Dalby Forest which is laced with walking and cycle trails. Beach 250 yards.
