About this property

Willow Cottage (SC), South Creake, Norfolk

Located in the charming village of South Creake, Willow Cottage is a traditional brick and flint cottage featuring modern, stylish interiors with a rustic flavour. Chic and petite, this hideaway is the perfect retreat for a lazy weekend, or an adventurous week exploring fabulous North Norfolk, with the coast just a twelve minute drive away.

Willow Cottage overlooks the little river Burn that meanders through the pretty village of South Creake and sits opposite the village green where the village ducks have made their home. Furnished throughout with understated style and comfort foremost in mind, enter the front door and you walk into an attractive open-plan living space - a sitting room that enjoys a view of the village, a dining area and a wood burning stove to keep you extra warm and cosy in cooler months. This leads through to a compact but surprisingly well-equipped kitchen that overlooks the rear garden and has a door giving access to the patio and garden beyond. To the side of the kitchen is a fully-tiled modern bathroom. Up the stairs, steep and narrow, are two bedrooms - a romantic master bedroom with a contemporary four post bed and a single bedroom with a trundle option.

Willow Cottage is a lovely spot for guests looking for a hideaway with their dog. This is an ideal base for enjoying easy access to both coastal and rural North Norfolk and just the place to relax and breathe in some fresh Norfolk air; somewhere to unwind and adopt a slower pace of life. If you are feeling active, there's plenty to do and many wonderful places to go, but if you just want to unwind and stay put, there is no nicer place to be!

Loved Willow cottage, very compact& well presented. Great location.

Overall a great stay at this beautiful cottage. Only one small criticism the bath towels would be better if they were bath sheets lol

Lovely place to stay.

The cottage was beautifully renovated to a high standard and in the perfect location to explore the area. It has everything you need and feels very cosy and welcoming. Although it is on the main road through the village it is very quiet and peaceful. The village of South Creake is very small but pretty. And the food in the Ostrich Pub next door is very good and the staff are very friendly. I only marked this cottage down for two reasons. Although we didn’t spend much time sitting around, the sofa and armchair had seen better days and weren’t that comfortable seem to have lost their ‘squishyness’. And the other reason is the stairs. They are incredibly steep and very hard for older people. Very difficult getting bags and suitcases up to the bedrooms.
