The Quintessential Lake District cottage

I booked this wee stone cottage as part of a 5-week stay in the Lake District. Check-in was a breeze and I found the cottage even quainter than I’d anticipated! Nice furnishings; well-equipped kitchen; cozy bedrooms; a sweet wood burner for cool Spring nights. Good location and easy access to Windermere and Ambleside by bus. I would have loved to stay longer than a week!

Cute cottage

Cottage was as described, apart from Parking which was no problem but a bit further than we'd imagined. Main issue was that i couldn't fins the info about the key code etc in my emails. Searching Vrbo and Cottages.com were fruitless - and only found it by searching just 'cottage'. It was a 'donotreply' email with the info. However, we found it and enjoyed our stay!
