The Stow Horse Fair is held twice a year, typically on the Thursday closest to 12th May and the Thursday closest to 24th October, however, we would recommend checking the exact date ahead of placing your booking. This is a traditional fair for gypsies and travelling people to meet up and trade which dates back to 1476 when its Charter was granted. Stow is very busy for a day or two before and after each fair, and a number of shops, pubs and restaurants are closed. Whilst many visitors enjoy the colour and vibrancy associated with the fairs, other visitors prefer to avoid Stow on these dates

Digbeth Views

It was fine and adequate for our needs but was cold on arrival and took about 24 hours to warm up.This may have been to do with the Broadband not working for over 24 hours.Good Wifi is essential to me and luckily a friend was staying in Stow and got me out of trouble.Karen was brilliant and got it resolved more quickly than I believed possible

Birthday trip

My daughter and I stayed here for a birthday treat and it is a fabulous property, right in the centre of Stow. Everything you could possibly want is on your doorstep and also close to other villages and attractions. Very spacious and comfortable property, and it also felt very secure being in the enclosed courtyard overnight. Great communication from StayCotswold. We will definitely book again!

A lovely property in a fabulous location

Digbeth views is lovely, the rooms are all a good size, it is modern, clean and comfortable with nice furnishings and everything you need. The courtyard it sits in is pretty and it feels very secure. The location is outstanding, couple of minutes walk maximum to everything you could need, restaurants, pubs, small Co-Op, Chemist - the list continues. We ate at Kings Arms, Porch House and the Indian - all good.

Very clean and well located apartment in a great town.

We enjoyed our stay in Stow-on-the-Wold. The apartment provided a short walk to everything in this charming village. Would recommend with a heads up that it’s not meant for older people. We had 2 90-year old women with us and there are a lot of stairs.

Short break

Clean and comfortable property. Second bedroom does not have a window, only a skylight, which may cause problems for some people. The outside terrace was a bonus in such a central location.

Stay at Digbeth View

Had an excellent stay in Stow at Digbeth Views. Right in the heart of the town, the cottage is stylish, clean, with everything we needed. The kitchen is fantastic, bathrooms clean and the rooms large and comfortable. You have to manage the parking because of it’s central location but this wasn’t a problem. Highly recommend

Digbeth View

This property is in the perfect location - just off the Square in Stow in the Wold. The flat was spacious with a large well equipped kitchen. During the warm weather the small roof terrace which is accessed from the kitchen was much appreciated. There are plenty of places to eat/drink nearby and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again. The only problem we had was with the gate which the shop owners in the courtyard close at night. On arrival we couldn't open the gate with the code supplied and called the contact number we were given. Bob, the owner, arrived very quickly to help and told us there was a "knack." The boys in the beer cafe across the road told us people have trouble with it all the time, so if you do have trouble I would recommend popping over to buy a craft beer or two and they'll help you out!

Very nice!

(My English is not so good, because we are from Germany) It was a very nice appartment with everything you need. Also the town is so lovely. A lot of very nice pubs, restaurants and tea-rooms are nearby. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Sun and coats on the roof terrace!

Fabulous facilities, location and clean and comfortable throughout. We loved our stay with great access to the many shops, pubs and eateries in Stow. We enjoyed a drink in the sun wearing our coats on the roof terrace! Great views across the roof tops to the rolling countryside. The property was well equipped, cleverly designed and we enjoyed our two nights. A five star stay! We highly recommend Digbeth Views!

A Lovely Escape!

We had a wonderful time at Digbeth Views. You couldn’t get a better location, in the middle of town so everything is on your doorstep but tucked away so it’s still quiet and peaceful. The property was very well equipped and clean, and had great access to a number of beautiful walks.

Fantastic location

Well equipped & spacious apartment in the heart of Stow. Seconds from pubs, shops etc. Decor could do with a refresh and cleaning is too superficial and should be more thorough. With just a little more effort, we would highly recommend
