This home, built by a local craftsman boat-builder, is nestled in a private setting but conveniently located in the historical Jenison Park area, near Macatawa Bay, Lake Michigan & many activities.
Cottage highlights open concept living, new comfortable furnishings, updated with new 55" & 47" TV, WiFi, cable, and total connectivity! A new feature for 2019 is the addition of an AC system, for your comfort!
Inviting decor through out this cozy cottage. Enjoy bird watching, as a variety of wild animals pass thru this lovely wooded private area.

Cottage has 2 bedrooms; 1 with a King bed, 2nd with a Queen, both with mattress protectors. Comfortable sectional sofa offers an added sleep option.
Central Air system, wooded area offers lovely lake breezes!
1 1/2 baths, new full size washer and dryer, well equipped kitchen with snack bar island and dining area.
Sliding doors open onto deck with table and plenty of seating. Roast marshmallows or tell stories around the fire pit, grill steaks on the gas grill, or just relax in the hammock and enjoy the beach breezes and sound of nearby surf!
Nearby rental recreation equipment is a short 5 minutes away~ offering bikes, body boards, kayaks, pontoon boats, and much more!

Great Easy Host and Perfect Location

First off, we live in Colorado in a resort town, and I grew up in West Michigan, so our expectations were high, and met. We had family staying east of hwy 31, and in Saugatuck, and we attended a wedding at the Felt Mansion. The location for this was perfect. My Mom is 83 and has some mobility issues and she navigated the house with no problems. Great easy walks with our dog Jake. Kathy is a great communicating host, but not too much :). Thank you Kathy!

Minutes from Holland, minutes from the beach.

The location is perfect for a visit to the Holland area. Visits to resort towns are a reasonable drive for a day of sight seeing. The cottage is immaculate and well equipped for visitors. It is in a quiet, wooded lot and was a good size for us and our small dog. The home has wifi but does not have cable.

Grandson 10 year old vacation

This is our last grandson to take on a 10-year-old vacation all by himself with Grammy and Grampy. We had wonderful weather in Holland, Michigan and he enjoyed everything we did and was disappointed when he heard we were leaving the next day. He lives in a really large house in Ohio, but he thought this house was wonderful.

Terrific location, cozy surroundings

We lived in the area for 35 years and were returning for a visit with family & friends. This cottage is in such a lovely area, a few miles out of town and very wooded. Close to hiking trails, Lake Macatawa harbors and all the fun things in downtown Holland without being in the center of town. The fall colors were awesome in Mid-October and we enjoyed campfires in the backyard in the evening. Kathy was a superb correspondent and we appreciated that our pets traveling with us were accommodated - they had lots of space around the house to stretch their legs.

Relaxing Stay

We had a very nice and relaxing getaway! The house is cozy and comfortable and very well-equipped. We enjoyed the family of deer that would come daily in the woods behind the house. The house is private and tucked away yet close to all amenities. It was the perfect escape for our family. Saugatuck is 15 minutes away and we enjoyed shopping there and taking scenic drives and walks. Big thanks to Kathy for letting us enjoy her lovely house and for her great communication.

Exploring Michigan

We spent 5 days here and loved the house. It was a perfect place to set up to explore the area. Everything was as described, minimal contact with the property manager (nothing went wrong so this was perfect). Simple check in/ check out process.

Perfect getaway

We picked this house due to proximity to so many different parks and tourist-y. This was exactly what we needed with two young kids on our first family vacation. Everything was easy from check in to check out. The space was clean and exactly what it said on the listing.

1st trip to Michigan

We had a great week staying at this pet-friendly home in Holland, Michigan. The area is very nice for walking the dog and views of Lake Macatawa were only 2 blocks away. The house is a little drive from the downtown area, and about 20 minutes away from the state park beach access, but it didn’t deter us from getting to see and do a lot of fun things in the area. We loved Holland so much we are considering retiring there someday!

Great Location

Great location close to the Saugatuck dunes state park/Saugatuck/Downtown Holland. Well placed to enjoy those aspects, plus close to one of the only public beaches in the area. House rules were very descriptive, but no unduly so.

Weekend getaway

We had a fun weekend at tulip time and exploring local breweries! We enjoyed the fire pit a lot (helpful tip: bring a lighter and roasting sticks and buy wood). Cute house to stay in- kitchen was well equipped, nice outdoor area, plenty of wash rags and towels. The shower head is pretty short (at 5’8” I had to duck to wash my hair). Perfect place for 2 couples or a family of 4!

Wonderful Home

This home is warm and inviting. The layout is perfect and I loved the vaulted ceiling. There are plenty of cookware items and the beds are comfortable. There is nothing missing for your stay here. The owner was easy to contact yet respected our privacy. I highly recommend this home.

Cute and nice location

We stayed here while moving our son into Hope College-it was only about a 10 minute drive and it gave us a place to unwind and relax after a few emotional days. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed.

Peaceful Cottage getaway

This was our first rental trip and it was exactly as I had hoped. Very peaceful, has everything we needed. Loved the use of the washer and dryer and we enjoyed the fire pit every night. We were disappointed you can’t walk to the light house but we enjoyed walking to the marina each morning. Lovely cottage and would rent again.

Quick get away

The property was very cute and comfortable. It was easy to get to everything Holland has to offer. The property is very wooded and the house was dark even on sunny days with the lights on.
