Family holiday

We had a good stay at the Old Sweet Shop which is generally a lovely property. Check-in was straight forward and the house was clean. The parking, while freely available on the roadside outside (double yellows immediately outside), is a nightmare with very narrow roads and no free spaces unless you are very lucky with timing. There is a large carpark nearby but it is height restricted so didn't work with our roofbox. I can confirm all the stairs are incredibly steep with the bedrooms basically opening straight onto them. Not a house for sleep walkers! Having said that the house was very comfortable, and was in a perfect position for exploring Whitstable with the harbour, shops and pubs only a couple of minutes walk. A lovely holiday was had by all!
