Large apartment in beautiful setting

The apartment is large and bright with beautiful views to the harbour area. Its situation is perfect with many lively bars and restaurants close by. Supermarket and shops within a short walking distance. We loved people watching whilst sitting on the wraparound terrace. The bedrooms are good sizes with plenty of storage (note one bedroom’s storage is outside the room). The kitchen is well equipped. We are happy to recommend this apartment. A couple of small things for the owners to note. The terrace furniture, apart from dining chairs, is tired and ready for renewal. The en suite shower has little water power. The lounge furniture, cream, covers were grubby and the rug stained

Best Apartment

This apartment is simply perfect, its very spacious, beautiful and clean, with everything you need to have a home from home experience Its in a prime location with wonderful views, great for people watching from the spacious balcony Its got easy access to restaurants, shops and supermarket The management company are very helpful if needed We would go back in a heartbeat

Fabulous location

Top quality apartment with an amazing view. Smart TV, comfortable beds. Note, additional coathangars in ensuite bathroom cupboard. A few dishwasher tablets and place mats would be useful. Best location in Arrecife.

Super apartment

The apartment was even better than it looks in the photos. Great location with an amazing view! There are many bars and restaurants just below, while it was very peaceful and quiet in the apartment. The bed was very comfortable, the apartment is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. We just loved the wrap around terrace where we could eat, sunbathe and generally chill. Everything is so close by including great supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants, the promenade and beach. We will definitely return.

Not 'luxury', more 'average, overpriced and potentially dangerous'

We were very disappointed with this apartment, which was described as a ‘luxury apartment’ with airconditioning. The airconditioning in the main living area does not work, and it appears not to have worked for some time, as the host seemed well aware of it and they were ready to provide fans. As one of our party suffers periodically from heat-exhaustion, this was bitterly disappointing as this was the main reason we booked this apartment – it was a shame that we were not given advanced notice. I note that the listing still includes airconditioning, which is utterly misleading. The only other aircon was in the master bedroom, which works but is damaged and looks as if the unit is about to fall out of the ceiling However, the most unacceptable aspect of this apartment was that, in my opinion, it posed a fire-safety risk. The front door (the only way out of the building) can only be opened by the key – there is no push-button door release. There is a notice on the door saying ‘PLEASE LOCK THE DOOR’ – I can only assume that this is to pprotect the bicycles & golf clubs stored by the door. Imagine if there was a fire and only keyholders could escape the building. Especially where young children are involved. Given that our party was 6 people, at check-in we were only given one set of keys. Upon request I did get 2 more sets. Our hosts were polite and helpful at all time, especially Graciela, although they must take responsibility for the misleading listing.

Basic bedrooms

It would be disappointing if three couples all expected a well equipped bedroom, there were no mirrors, rails for hanging wet towels and in bed 3 no clothes storage at all.. The second shower room was small with a poor shower and no hanging rails. For a small expenditure these deficits could be overcome!
