Long weekend

The cottage is a wonderful little gem in between spectacular hills, in a lovely village. Our host really looked after us, prepared some breakfast for the first morning and left some drinks in the fridge which was a nice touch. Everything was amazing during our stay, definitely recommend it to anybody who wants peace and quiet in comfort of a fully functioning house. Thank you

Lovely, well appointed cottage with garden to sit out in and a parking space!

A lovely property to stay in if wanting to walk Hadrians Wall and surrounding countryside! You can join the wall a short distance on foot from the cottage, with the remains of a milecastle just 5 mins walk away. The cottage has great amenities, with Julie the owner having thought of everything you could need, even down to boot drying racks! A lovely welcome pack awaited us on arrival and a folder of very useful and comprehensive information about the property and local area. A lovely, cosy stay at Runnerfoot Cottage. Would highly recommend!
