The Cartlodge is a recently converted, fully modernised Grade II listed barn with an array of period features, a large garden at the back and coastal planted patio at the front. Set in an idyllic spot in rural Suffolk with a vast array of walks on the doorstep, it is also within 5 minutes drive from the picturesque market town of Woodbridge, twenty minutes from the Suffolk coast and heath's area of outstanding natural beauty and a short walk from an award winning gastro pub in the village.
The Cartlodge is on the outskirts of a small village and situated a few minutes walk from an award winning gastro pub. There are a range of walks from the house through the beautiful Suffolk countryside. Five minutes drive away is the attractive market town of Woodbridge, sited on the River Deben which includes a range of pubs and restaurants and historic sites such as the Tide Mill and Market hill and amenities such as a leisure centre, cinema. Sutton Hoo is a short drive as well as two 12th Century castles.
The space
This beautifully presented barn conversion is tastefully decorated and furnished with a light airy modern feel. Although fully modernised, it maintains a wide array of the original features of the Cartlodge that it was converted from. The front door opens into an entrance porch with cupboards and space for hanging coats. The main living room is spacious with the original vaulted ceiling. There is a comfortable sitting area with sofa and large TV and a dining space with table and chairs and double French doors out onto the front patio seating area. The kitchen is fully fitted with plenty of storage space, domestic appliances and a good range of kitchen equipment. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and en-suite shower room and the other with twin beds and also an en-suite shower room. At the rear of the property is a generous sized private enclosed garden beautifully planted with a patio and seating area and outside table and chairs. A travel cot and high chair can be provided if required and also a range of toys and books for all ages of children on request.

The Cartlodge is no more than half an hour's drive from so many attractions - a variety of beaches - Aldeburgh, Southwold, Thorpe Ness, Felixstowe, 2 forests - Tunstall and Rendlesham, 2 English Heritage castles - Framlingham and Orford, the incredible Sutton Hoo site, as well as lots of fantastic restaurants and country pubs, interesting towns and villages and lots of other attractions.

What makes this property unique
This property forms part of a grade II listed estate. It was the barn that housed the carts and coaches for the farmhouse next door and retains lots of its original features whilst being fully modernised. It has beautiful coastal planting to the front of the property and a large landscaped garden to the rear.
