Apartment

This very central charming apartment is located in an ancient building in via dei Cappellari, close to Piazza Navona and Pantheon. The historical atmosphere is preserved through its wooden ceilings and fine furniture. It offers guests two double bedrooms, two bathrooms with showers, hairdryer, double sink, bidet, toilet and washer dryer. The kitchen, closed by cathedral-style windows, is super-equipped: stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, kitchenware and tableware, and a table for six, all available for guests. The living area presents a couch (which can be turned into a sofa bed guests can use upon request) and a corner bureau with telephone and fast fiber Wi-fi lan network with 2 workstations. An ancient internal spiral staircase leads to a private terrace, nestled between the roofs of Rome, with table and chairs, sink and barbecue. The apartment also offers an independent air conditioning / heating system, three full HD satellite TVs, access to Sky, an USB compatible stereo system, mp3 ... and all in the heart of the Eternal City.

Good space and location

Overall, the property was good. However, the bathroom in the main bedroom was more like a half bath, the shower was very small and it was easier to use the larger bathroom for showers. Overall, we had a great stay, it fit all 6 of us, but probably more comfortable for 4 people. Having laundry was a great help, but it is a washer dryer combo, which took some time to figure out and be prepared for long dry times (make sure you don't overstuff the machine). The biggest selling point was the location; we got everywhere we needed to be within 20 minutes max and there were so many good food spots just down the street. Would recommend.

Excellent location!

We had a good overall stay and loved the close location to Campo de’ Fiori. We walked many places around Rome and enjoyed being so close to the market, shops, and restaurants. Overall, the property was good. However, the bathroom in the main bedroom was more like a half bath, despite it having a shower. The shower was very small and it was easier to use the larger bathroom for showers. Overall, we had a great stay and the property was unique.

Great location!!

The apartment was great! Fantastic location, close to everything! Loved being right at the marketplace. The apartment was large and airy, high ceilings and great rooftop terrace. We really enjoyed out stay!

A home away from hone

The location is so convenient to food shops, Restos, nice friendly people. It’s close to everything , but away from crowds and tour groups and traffic. We would love to come back

Rustic Family Friendly

The property is styled in the classic rustic appearance that one might expect from an older home in Italy. That being said, it could use a little updating and TLC, but this is an honest home and great value for its location and walking distance from several things that you would want to see and experience. Owners/Property Managers are very responsive and have great communication with a reasonable response time. Again, could use some updating and some TLC, but this home is what it says it is and looks like in the pictures and a great value for what it is. Would recommend without any hesitations…

Centrally located

We really enjoyed our stay at the Campo de Fiori apartment. Emanuel was very helpful in getting us there from the airport (and back). He let us know when there was an interesting site to see, and helped us transport our luggage all the way to the door of the the building. The check-in was easy. The apartment is fully furnished (there were 5 of us), and we didn't miss out on anything. Our host, Massimiliano, was quick to answer when we had a question. The apartment is ideally located near every major tourist attraction that we wished to visit. Every site is accessible by foot, which is great! The Campo dei Fiori market was 1 minute away. It was perfect for us. Thanks Massimiliano for a wonderful week!

Enjoyable stay

We had a wonderful stay at the property, it is so well located for everything we wanted to visit bot nearby and further afield. There are also some great places to eat and drink nearby. It is a beautiful quirky apartment with great facilities and had all we needed for our 3 night stay The only downside was the check in, we were sent a video of the procedure which we were clear on but when we arrived the keys weren't in the lockbox and we only managed to gain access when someone else left and the main door was then open so we could use the given code at the door to the apartment

Unique Stay

The apartment is in an excellent location and has a lot of character, featuring wooden beam ceilings, stained glass and a private terrace. Our host was easy to communicate with and arranged for a driver/transportation service for travel to and from the airport and train station. Our driver was excellent and even helped us on a day when there was a taxi/metro/bus strike.

Nice place in the heart of Campo di Fiori

A nice, roomy apartment near the plaza. Plenty of places to eat and stores nearby. There are a few steps before the elevator so be aware of that. Also the listing identifies that there is a “clothes dryer” in the apartment but it’s only a drying rack. Beds were very comfortable.

Fantastic location!

We had an amazing time in Rome and this apartment is so convenient for everything. We stayed with our family of four (2 adult daughters) and it was great for our needs. Be aware the shower in the main bedroom is quite small but we just used the other shower and it wasn’t an issue. Really enjoyed the rooftop terrace! Campo de Fiori is such a wonderful area to stay and the people are very welcoming!

Wonderful apartment in a great location.

The apartment was in a great location near many restaurants, stores, and a daily open market in the Piazza. It was easy to walk to all the popular sights. The apartment was very cute and well stocked. I loved the stained glass and all the antiques. There was a washer with drying rack and an elevator. The bed was a bit firm but we slept well for 4 nights. Secure building and apartment accessible via code.

Great, interesting, and homey!

It gave me a sense of being a resident of Rome for the days we were there. Located off a great square with great restaurants and an open air market, and reasonable walking distance to all the great tourist destinations. It was beautiful and well equipped. The only minor problem we had was the combo washer/dryer left things damp enough to need hanging to dry. A very small price to pay!!!

Great location. Lovely unique apartment. A peculiar layout which was not conducive to group and terrace at top was not well maintained. Unfortunately appliances were lacking or malfunctioning. Some amenities missing (soap, shampoo). However the owner was very responsive and attentive.

Great Location!

The apartment is in a wonderful location we walked everywhere we wanted to go. It has a crazy layout so you don’t have privacy. Definitely good for families but not two couples. Everything was great we were even able to store our luggage prior to check-in. Our only complaint is that we were a party of five and there were no bed linens for the sofa bed and not enough towels. We asked for linens and extra towels and the owner never responded.

Excellent location!

The place was perfect for my husband and I and our best friends, but if you want two private rooms, this isn’t it. One of the beds is more in a living room with a door that doesn’t shut well separating the two. The laundry washed but did not dry the clothes, and there was only a fitted sheet with blankets on the bed. But the place was beautiful and just as described! The host was easy to talk to and very responsive, and the location was amazing! Within 1-2 miles of almost all the big sites, and only feet away from the adorable plaza that has great restaurants and, during the day, an awesome farmers market. Definitely recommend this place!

Communication very poor, good location, good price

Older property with 1-2 bathrooms and it’s a stretch to say more than 3-4 people can be in here comfortably. We had 4 people and it was close quarters. The bathrooms/layout was older , not modern. There are 35 steps to the second floor apt, hallway not well lit at night. Difficult to get in touch with prop manager to get in initially —called x4 and finally picked up but we were waiting more than 25 mins. Overall communication was poor with this manager. Seemed like maybe he had a lot of properties to deal with but not a lot of quick response to issues. The price was good, the area in the campo de Fiori was fun but would not recommend .

Great location, but that’s about it

We were very excited to stay near Campo di Fiori, but the apartment was dark, felt a little dingy, and we had some difficulties. The apartment is a little strange to get in and out of… once we got locked IN (for a few min— then we got out). When we got back one night, the air con’d (mini splits) wouldn’t work— all 3! We messaged the owner (it was very warm inside) and he didn’t get back to us for 2 hours— but to his credit, he did get back to us late at night! He was able to reset it via remote?? Also, we were told that we weren’t able to set temp below 77 degrees via Italian law, but we stayed at another hotel before that, and we were able to keep it relatively cool. The bed is extremely uncomfortable. There’s firm, and there’s hard. This bed was hard. The patio was just not usable. The 2 showers both made it difficult to shower. We also wrote to the owner to ask if we could potentially leave our suitcases in the apt. If our flight was delayed a couple hours and the owner never got back to us. Again, if you’re looking for a good, reasonably priced location, this is it! If there’s more you require, then think about it.

Perfect Location.

Firstly, this apartment is in a perfect location, Campo dei Fiori, with access to literally all of Rome within no more than a 25 minute walk. A special plus is that Trastevere is literally a 10 minute walk across the Ponte Sisto bridge and you are right in the middle of bustling bars and restaurants. Secondly, we never actually met or saw the property manager. However, the one time we had a question it was promptly answered via message. Thirdly, for the price, it is a super deal. Fourthly, we did cook several nights as it is fun to visit the Campo Plaza with all of the produce and meat vendors. The kitchen is very usable but not stocked. The apartment is in a very old and dark building, with a homeless person residing in the entrance area (over in a corner). This can be disturbing in the dark of night, although the person appears to be harmless. The apartment itself is certainly fine; however, the pictures aren’t totally correct. For one, the outside space, which the pics note to be quite welcoming, is a mess, which, for us, included a very large and dead pigeon. Thus, what we expected to be a morning coffee area was never utilized. This area needs a super big clean up. From what we can conclude, the apartment is truly a one bedroom with a bed placed in the living room area, right next to the entrance door. It’s no problem; however, it can be a bit cramped and has a lack of privacy.
