Great House

We had a lovely stay at West Heath and the house was very well equipped. We found many excellent local restaurants and it was ideally placed to play the wonderful golf courses in the area.

A lovely house but not clean

We had a wonderful stay at West Heath with our family. The house is not throughly clean though. All the kitchen surfaces, kitchen table, under sofas and under some of the beds were filthy. This was disappointing. After I had cleaned, swept and disinfected we then did throughly enjoy our time staying at the house. It would have been good to know beforehand that the property on the drive is not part of the house.

Good Accommodation But

West Heath provided great comfortable accommodation and good design for our extended family with just a few disappointments in that the house was not properly cleaned before we arrived and even after the service man attended, he did not properly clean those areas that we had complained about. Some of the lights did not work, water pressure was poor yet the shower drains did not remove water so the floors became flooded and the kitchen layout was badly designed although using luxury appliances. There was no play equipment for children in the back garden. However a lovely house for a holiday so if these minor defects were attended to, it would have been perfect!

Very Functional

A modern, open plan, house that for entertaining is very functional. Clearly the Annex is an afterthought upping the accommodation by four persons and for families caused a slight issue of safety for children being not secured by any side gate. Photos of the property cleverly remove the adjacent properties and you are unaware of a small holiday rental on you drive! As at the time of writing all appliances etc are fairly new and hence in good condition, however once again we had to clean one oven as the previous tenants, and the cleaners, decided to leave it after use. The garden is as shown, a large square of grass with heathland at the bottom. Not particularly great to sit in but the children loved the space. The location is up an unmade road with both new properties being constructed and rather run down ones clearly marked for development in the future. If you are a boating enthusiast then the location is a stones throw from the "harbour" but if you aren't its a bit run down and not a lot to do locally. All in all a very functional house ideal for entertaining large groups of adults.

Great Stay

West Heath is a beautiful property located in the village of Brancaster Staithe. The property is very well equipped and a short walk to the excellent White Horse pub/restaurant. We had a most enjoyable week's stay and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the property in the highest possible terms.

Relaxation and Memory making at West Heath

We had a lovely week staying at West Heath in the pretty village of Brancaster Staithe with it's quaint harbour. We enjoyed our family beach adventures at Brancaster with it's large expanse of sand which our Daughter and dogs loved. The coastal walk has stunning views and plenty of wildlife to spot. West Heath has lots of space, privacy and home from home comforts, whether you want to curl up with a book on the sofa's or enjoy a barbeque in the garden. With it's large kitchen and dining area it's a great place to make family memories. We had a very comfortable stay and would love to go back to West Heath and visit the area again to explore some more.
