Wonderful relaxing trip away

We absolutely loved this villa. The host was fantastic, so responsive and was on hand to answer any queries all holiday. Located near a beautiful beach and Ericeira only a short drive away. We stayed with young children and due to the fantastic layout of the villa, we were able to have a good time without waking the little ones. A wonderful property for any type of holiday.

Jasper is a wonderful host and we had a fantastic trip! The Villa is well equipped and maintained. Each bedroom is ensuite with private balconies. Walking to the beach was wonderful. Hope to return soon!

Warm winter New Year

Accommodation for the extended family with plenty of space to have private time, or family gathering. The property was ideally located near surf beaches, though longish and difficult walk with small children. Drive to historic towns and Lisbon. Very picturesque coastline. High humidity caused condensation within the house and musty smell. Very helpful and friendly owner.

Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome from the lovely property manager Rita who showed us around the house and gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. She checked in frequently to make sure we were happy and even helped with a local restaurant reservation! The house is beautiful and spacious with incredible views of the ocean and a lovely pool. With a little more attention to detail this could be 5 star—certain storage areas in the kitchen and laundry rooms along with the backyard furniture need tidying and updating. Air conditioning is only in two bedrooms on the bottom floor so main space and upstairs bedrooms were quite hot. A nice breeze came in when windows were opened but so did lots of flies. The addition of a few screens would be a quick and comfortable fix. Overall, nice stay but needs some updates to match the price of the listing. A rental car is needed for access to the main town.

Fabulous Property

Jasper was a great host and easy to work with while planning for our family trip of 13 (12 adults and 1 teenager). The Villa Valbom is approximately 40 minutes from the Lisbon airport, 10 minutes from Ericeira, and its best to have a car to get around. There is a beach within walking distance, but be warned, it is a hike given the terrain; by car about three minutes. You can believe the pictures you see of Villa Valbom, the property and design of the house is absolutely beautiful inside out. It offers plenty of spaciousness for alone time and privacy, as well as gatherings around the huge unique dining room table, lounge and pool areas. The bedrooms are spacious with king size beds and balconies with great scenic views. The house was well stocked and had all of the necessary small and large appliances to prepare meals. If you need a house to accommodate a group, do not hesitate to book this property, you will not be disappointed. Our family loved this property. Shay P. Virginia USA

We all enjoyed our stay!

The location of the house was fantastic for a family get together. It’s very private and just a close walk to the beach. For restaurants and stores you need to have a car. The house is well designed so that there is lots of separation between all the bedrooms and everyone can have some quite time. In general we recommend the house.

Schönes Objekt in traumhafter Lage

Ein geräumiges und schönes Haus in einer tollen Lage. Wir haben dort mit 8-14 Personen eine wunderschöne Zeit verbracht. Der Kontakt mit Jasper war immer freundlich und sehr unkompliziert. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dorthin reisen.
