There is a small garden in front of the house and an inviting covered terrace with garden furniture in the back. You can also find walking routes and outings to the quiet, relaxing local area. There is also a common room with table football and dartboard on the property. The Rübeland area is surrounded by mountains and forests. Selected hiking trails including the renowned Hexensteig delight fans of nature and hiking. Due to its central location, the known holiday destinations as well as the surrounding regions can be reached easily and quickly. And this region has no lack of sports and leisure activities. Popular destinations for trips include the Baumannshöhle, the Hermannshöhle, the ruins of castle Regenstein at Blankenburg, the Rappbode dam, the Mining Museums at Elbingerode, Wernigeröde Palace, Kyffhäuser and of course the Brocken, the highest mountain in North Germany.
