Spectacular home

Wonderful hosts, beautiful home, walking distance to Vatican Museum. Not walkable to other areas of the city, but we used the hop on and off bus. Parking is on street, 1 euro an hour but only in effect for 12 hrs I think. Resident turtle provided entertainment

Nice getaway

It was an excellent location, relaxing and quiet! The elevator was not functioning so we had to climb 5 floors but everything was so comfortable and ac functioned perfectly!!

Nicely appointed apartment in a great location.

Pros: 1. Very well appointed and spacious apartment. 2. Location cannot be beat - right next to the Vatican wall; about 15-minute walk from the Vatican Museum entrance. Cons: 1. Room was supposed to be ready by 3 pm (when check-in is allowed). We were there at 5 pm. Cleaning was just starting out. The property manager suggested that we wait (for several hours!) in the building hallway. We ultimately negotiated that we'll move from room to room while they are cleaning it. 2. When you check in, they bring you wet towels and you're expected to wait for the next morning for them to dry. Other: 1. There is an elevator in the building, but you do have to walk 1 flight of stairs to get to the apartment. Was not an issue for us, but could be for some people. 2. You are given two sets of two keys: one for the apartment, one for the building entrance. When you check out, you're supposed to leave all keys inside the apartment. That means there is no way for you to leave the building - you need a key to open the door from inside as well. So one person has to keep the building entrance door open while someone else is leaving the keys in the apartment.

Excellent property

Fantastic spacious property. Spotlessly clean. The photos do not do this place justice. We stayed as a 3 generational family as we were all thrilled with the place. Everything you need and a great base to explore this magnificent city. Outside raised seating area was an added bonus, lovely to relax and see the local wildlife. Great communication from the owner, would definitely recommend.

Perfect for friends

Great location if you don’t mind a bit of walking to and from the accommodation to and from the taxi or public transport stops. The neighborhood Prati is near with nice restaurants, cafes and shopping. There is a resident turtle who lives outside on the terrace - super cute. Three outdoor areas to sit and enjoy before heading out for the day love r for a night cap. All of the amenities were there that we needed. Perfect for a long weekend with friends.
