With Black Coombe fell and the Whicham valley on your doorstep there are walks from the front door or southern Lake District including Coniston, Lake Windermere, Wastwater are only 30 mins drive away. If you fancy a sea view, the coast the dog-friendly beach of Silecroft is under 2 miles away
