Spacious and quirky
We are 4 couples who spent 9 days here. House is on a steep east-facing slope.
Bedroom 1 is large, with double bed, sofa bed, table and chairs. It's on the ground floor west side, semi underground. Glass panels in the ceiling which is the pool patio. Glazed door leads outside (front).
Bedroom 2 is the single, with easterly view to the seating area in front of the bar.
Bedroom 3 has good view east towards the rising sun, Tarajalejo and the sea. Double bed and sofa bed.
Bedroom 4 is the smallest double. Window faces south to the main pool No views due to high wall
Bedroom 5 double, with private shower overlooking the pool area and a substantial walk-in dressing area.
The kitchen layout can get congested if more than 1 person is trying to work there. Directly outside is a large dining table good for really hot days because it's in shade, but visible to neighbours being at the front.
We mostly ate in the conservatory adjacent to the living room. It comfortably seats 8.
There were a few minor maintenance issues which we reported in detail to the owner at the end of our stay, feedback was received positively.
Barbecue (charcoal) worked very well. Unheated pool was OK during the day but by 4pm the area is in shade. Apart from front dining area, outdoor spaces are not overlooked.
In conclusion, if you want a pristine, soulless cookie cutter apartment in a huge commercial resort, overlooked by others then this place is not for you. If you want privacy and character then try this.
