There is not a better location in Gulf Shores!! Uniquely situated in Seawind, the pool is not below this unit's balcony. So when you are relaxing on the balcony you simply enjoy the view without the pool noise. This unit accommodates 8 with one gulf front master bedroom, a second bedroom with a queen bed and attached bathroom, a kids bunk room with twin bunks and sleeper sofa in living room. If you enjoy viewing the gulf while laying in bed you will love this unit!! As you enter the unit, you will be drawn to the amazing views and sounds of the gulf. This unit is on the direct Gulf Front side of Seawind....no side views from this unit....complete Gulf views from East to West. Once you get settled you will realize you have everything you need for your vacation. We live locally and love to share the local information and tips to make your stay the best vacation experience you have while visiting our sugar sand beaches!

In addition to the wonderful location in the building, you are within walking distance to so much!! Walk to multiple restaurants, bars, shopping, fishing pier, market and the new Gulf Shores Beach park. Don't fight for parking when attending all of the Gulf Shores festivals....walk from Seawind.

If you desire amenities while on vacation, look no more, Seawind is an amenity rich complex, with outdoor/indoor heated pool, hot tub, children's pool and water play area, and the best full fitness center on the beach with machines, free weights and cardio equipment and a sauna that rivals private gyms and lastly a beachfront BBQ area.
One parking pass comes with your reservation. An additional pass can be purchased for $50 plus tax for a maximum of two parking passes.

Great location

Great location, within walking distance to several shops and restaurants. Beach is beautiful, excursion bookings right in front of complex on the beach. If you are wanting a pool to lounge and swim in go elsewhere. Indoor/outdoor pool was closed when we were there and the outdoor pool is tiny without any lounge chairs, etc. Our 3 year old loved the kids pool however it was very cold and a lot of adults using the lounge chairs to suntan without kids so seating for us with kids was minimal depending on the time. The complex is aged and run down. We didn’t have elevator issues like others mentioned. The unit was dated and very lived in. A deep cleaning and updating is needed. There’s moisture damage in the bathrooms that needs fixed as well as the flooring in the living room. We were the “first” guests of the season so a couple hiccups but the host was very communicative and got what we needed within an hour of letting her know. Having a local host who handles that is priceless imo. TVs in rooms were a hit for our kids as well as the games. We played games every night as a family and made some good memories. Sand toys supplied were awesome to have. We didn’t see any beach chairs but could have just looked over them. Overall we had a wonderful stay but wish it was a bit cleaner, updated, and had a true pool. Host was amazing and very informative and helpful with recommendations.

Great for large families

My family and I stayed here for our first family trip to the beach. We have 4 boys that range in age 13-1 year old. So having easy beach and pool access was a must and this property delivered on both! Great location near the island mart and within walking distance to several restaurants.

Excellent Vacation

We loved our 7 day stay. It really was the perfect location spot. We were close enough to walk to places but far enough away for peace and quiet. There is a market directly across the street. Angela was great. She quickly responded to any questions we had. The condo was great. It was very clean and came equipped with everything we needed. We had a nice view of the ocean and I spent a lot of time during the evenings on the balcony listening to the ocean and reading. It was an extremely busy July 4th week and the elevator traffic could get difficult but we quickly settled into a routine and figured out the best time to go up and down. We did not use the pool but passed it daily and it was very child friendly. I would stay here again and highly recommend the condo.

Great location! Great stay!

My family of 5 had the best vacation here. This place is exactly as described. Plenty of room for all of us to hang out and loved the separate bedrooms for everyone. The deck is great and we spent a ton of time out there enjoying the view. The beach is very close and walking distance. The pool on the property is nice as well. The elevators do take some time to get to you, but you’re on vacation so normally not in too big of a hurry. Parking spaces are very tight in some areas but if you go up to the outside parking area, you have more room. We had a great family vacation and staying at this condo made it even better. Would love to stay again!

Beautiful view- home away from home

Check in and communication with owner was easy! View from balcony was amazing. Sunsets and sunrises right there. Plenty of room, kitchen stocked with almost all the things you’d need (except pizza cutter lol), beach chair, beach toys. The elevator and parking sometimes was the only bad thing about the stay. We enjoyed our time there!

Fantastic unit and stay!

What a great week we had! Love the convenient location of this building. Close to everything yet still a feeling of not being too near anyone else. The unit was a great size for our family. We had everything we needed for our stay, including a nice size bottle of dish soap, and yummy scented liquid hand soaps in the bathrooms and the kitchen. A nice homey touch! We had a good laugh when we found a very blackened and charred loaf of bread in the oven! There were board games in the unit that we played and an assortment of beach toys that we did not use. It was generally a quiet building. It is a non-smoking building, including the balconies, but we could still smell smokers from the balcony. The beach itself was amazing. Not too crowded and beach service is available or bring your own set-up as we did. You’re right next door to Sea and Suds which was convenient to step off the beach and enjoy seafood and drinks. There’s a great convenience store across the street for anything you may need. This unit is definitely on our list to return to!

EXCELLENT Beach Weekend!

Angela was a joy to work with. The unit was the perfect size for our family, and the views are amazing. We didn't notice any noise from neighbors, the garage, or outside and will absolutely stay again. The only con was the elevator area on the ground floor was being retiled. We were told this before booking but didn't realize it would mean the elevators on the 1st floor would be off limits. This posed a problem for my disabled vet husband, but it did not ruin the trip at all. Just was a hassle more than anything. Again...we had a blast here!

Property owner was awesome

Angela stayed in touch with us from the time we booked until we checked in. She was great. Room had everything we needed plus extra. There was plenty of towels, blankets, pillows and we didn’t have to buy sand toys or things needed for the beach. Everything was clean, view was great and location was awesome. Seawind could work on the elevator situation but the room made up for that headache. Definitely recommend.

Enjoyed our stay!

We loved staying at the Seawind! I found it to be just as it is advertised, neat & clean plus conveniently situated. We were pleasantly surprised to have beach toys/gear for the kids since we left ours at home! The bunks were suitable for our littles (just maybe not adults). Our host was VERY friendly accommodating & responsive. Would definitely recommend, and will 100% be booking this unit again.

Great stay - great host

March '23: Property is as advertised and Angela is a fantastic host. Highly recommended for anyone considering this unit. We had our family with two young kids and it worked great for us. Kitchen is very well stocked and bedding plus bath towels are plentiful. Small details like good internet wifi and satellite TV were huge benefits. In unit laundry worked great and there's a vacuum so we cleaned up our sand daily. Lots of patio and beach chairs and toys for the kids.

I love the Seawind

This was our second trip at the seawind and it hasn't disappointed us yet. This place is near everything we need. Very clean and spacious, relaxing, and has everything you need. Our host was amazing. Needs a deep clean and updated basics

This unit advertises location…and that it does have. It is definitely within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Unfortunately, it could be so much more and we were quite disappointed with the quality of this unit. The bunk bed room is about the size of a closet. Probably fine for little kids…not so much for teenagers or adults. The mattresses are covered with plastic protectors but the sheets and blankets are so worn-out-thin that it sounded like a trash bag when you sat down on them. Needless to say, nobody used this room and I ended up going to Walmart to buy a sheet set to use on the couch. The bathroom in the hallway is moldy. Being at the ocean, moisture is expected….but this was gross. One of the pictures on the wall was slightly shifted- when looking to move it back I noticed that on the wall behind this picture was a perfect moldy square silhouette. In both bathrooms the towels provided were SO WORN and and rugs were heavily used, faded and matted. The plastic shower curtains are covered in that red slimy moldy goo. Throughout the unit, pictures are missing from the walls…but nails still showing. Furniture in this unit is quite used and abused…the loveseat armrest is crushed and the lounge chair on the patio was torn and unusable. The view is nice, but (uncontrollable, I understand ) you can smell cigarettes and other questionable smoking odors from the neighbors. This unit is right above the parking garage so car alarms sounding were frequent. As noted in other reviews, there are not enough elevators for this building. We used the stairs (also gross) primarily. Angela was very helpful throughout our stay. We had trouble getting the bedroom tv to work. She offered to come help fix it, but we declined and just went without for the week. The fire alarm went off for the entire building for a couple hours one day and Angela kept in contact with me to keep me updated. (Nothing was on fire, it just took a long time for the fire department to turn it off). I did not contact her regarding the cleanliness of unit. This would not be a quick fix and, being on vacation, I really didn’t want to deal with making time for someone to come “fix” stuff or clean something that should have already been clean. For this price point luxury isn’t expected, but cleanliness and basic quality should be. I would not return to this location.

Beautiful unit (407)

Our family enjoyed the stay at Seawind unit (407). This unit is up-to-date with furniture and no carpet!!! Very very clean!!!! They have board games and playing cards for the family. Our four kids stayed busy. They also have beach items (thank God because we forgot to pack sand buckets and other beach items). Overall grade, OUTSTANDING!!! Thanks!!!

Friend Trip

The condo was absolutely great! It had everything we needed for our weekend friends trip. The only complaint was some people said the bunk beds were too firm and the second bedroom had loud springs in it. Other than that it was in a perfect location and we had a blast. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone looking for a relaxing trip to the beach.

Great family vacation

We had an awesome time! The condo was clean and the location was great- within walking distance to a lot of terrific restaurants! If we had to complain about anything, the elevators take FOREVER! Save yourself the time and park on the 3rd level and use the stairs! There were also a lot of people smoking on their balconies, which drove us inside. None of that can be controlled. The beach is beautiful! The amenities were fun. The condo stayed cool and was a nice change from the humidity. Overall, I'd give it 5 stars! We'd totally book again!

Girls family getaway

I normally don’t do reviews but for this particular rental I feel obligated to others to do so. I strongly recommend anyone who rents from this property group to do a video walk through before anyone enters the unit. Reason being I was accused of someone in my family breaking the arm of the loveseat when clearly in the listing pictures the arm of the loveseat was broken. I would hope that anyone else not get blamed as I was.

They wanted their guests to have the personal touch and level of service while on their vacation. So now I manage their unit also.
