About this property

It's as quiet as a mouse at The Old Headmasters House

Ground floor accommodation of a detached Victorian cottage. Set in the middle of it's own grounds and in Sandown, the Isle of Wight's largest seaside resort. A relaxing character property with a balance of modern and original features, approximately an 8 -10 minute walk to the High Street and beautiful sandy beach, plus conveniently very close to the train station and local corner shop. Including gated off Road parking, picnic area, private entrance with large accommodation offering an individual and spacious alternative.

CONTINUED* Please read below.
ARIVAL BY CAR - easy arrival located just off the Main Road avoiding the town one way system and parking is car to door, right outside the entrance where you will be staying.
ARRIVAL BY TRAIN - Prime Location for train station being only a very short walk away.
ARRIVAL PREPERATION - Initial tea, coffee and milk ready for arrival. The kitchen has a gas hob and electric oven with microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. Long stay guests please be aware there is no washing machine available, but there is a launderette just off the High Street in Wilkes Road that also do a collect & delivery service.
ON ARRIVAL - Simply knock on the door for the key.
TOURIST INFORMATION STAND - maps, leaflets, available.
OFF ROAD PARKING - perfect from mini to the larger Range Rover, but those who have a sports car for example with "lower suspension", meaning you are more likely to knock into road humps, may not be able to access. Likewise electric vehicles and electric bikes are not permitted.
OUTSIDE PATIO - plus ample garden seating to suit your preference.
BITS & BOBS - bed linen is provided, toilet paper, liquid hand soap and towels as well. Personal items such as shower gel are left to the preference of the guest to bring. As there are mostly tiled and laminated floors, guests are recommended to bring slippers.

KING SIZE BED - with comfort grade mattress + optional pull-out bed for separate sleeping or extra guest.
LARGE GUEST SPACE - consisting of private entrance, hallway, shower room & toilet, kitchen, living room and bedroom.

Had a wonderful stay. Very beautiful spotlessly clean place, a nice garden, convenient location for the beach and shops. Highly recommended.

Wonderfully attentive and helpful.

Mick is the perfect host,a fantastic representative of his gorgeous Victorian property. Full of character..(both the property and Mick!)..spotlessly clean, and particularly handy if travelling by train. A wonderful homely base on a beautiful island.I can't fault it!

Net appartement, ouderwetse entourage

Hartelijke gastheer verhuurt de benedenverdieping van dit huis. Technisch en inhoudelijk is alles ok, interieur en styling is ouderwets en met weinig smaak.
