The Space:
Spacious and vibrant with plenty of colour, Marine Sands could be the makings of a perfect time away at the seaside for couples. The property’s true centre is the combined living room and kitchen space. Don’t let the kitchen’s size fool you, it is still packed with everything you require for all those cooking masterpieces you have in you whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner! From kettle to toaster to oven and microwave, the kitchen is fully stocked!

The living area is comfy, spacious and perfect for either chilling out on the cushion armoured sofa in front of the flatscreen TV after a long day exploring the Scarborough beach scene, or taking in those culinary wonders that you prepared in the kitchen.

In Marine Sands’ only bedroom you’ll find a homely expanse, with a king-sized bed dominating the cosy, comforting environment meant to create a soothing night’s rest for your stay. Flanking the bed are two bedside tables, with lamps situated on top of them making the room perfect for late night readers and storing your odds and ends for your stay. There is a single bathroom boasting a stand-in shower, wash basin and WC.

The Neighborhood:
Located in the seaside town of Scarborough, Marine Sands is a short walk to all of the attractions. Packed with seaside charm, you’ll find plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes to discover as well as arcades and ice cream parlours.

There are a number of beaches for you to choose from. The popular South Bay is a sun trap and close to the hustle and bustle of the town centre. North Bay has been accredited with Blue Flag status meaning it’s one of the best beaches in Europe! Cayton Bay is the quietest of the three and boasts a sweeping bay with a rural feel. Lastly Cornelian Bay is the remotest and hardest to get to but it’s a hidden gem and often empty.

Ideal for all weathers, there are lots of indoor attractions in Scarborough for the whole family. Head to Sea Life Sanctuary to see seals, penguins, sharks, turtles and more or Scarborough Castle to explore its 3000 year history. If it’s outdoor fun you’re looking for, The Open Air Theatre is a short walk from the house where you can see amazing bands, singers and comedians. There is also the Sky Trail Adventure and Peasholm Park nearby.

Getting Around:
Marine Sands is within walking distance of Scarborough town centre and within 1 hours’ drive time of Staithes, Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay and Filey.

Scarborough Train Station is a short 15 minute walk away and has routes to Filey, Bridlington, Liverpool and Sheffield.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout Scarborough. Hop on the 12 route and you can visit neighbouring seaside spots of Filey and Bridlington. The X93 travels through to Middlesbrough with drop offs in Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby.
