Come and discover this magnificent country house with private swimming pool, nestling in a vast plot of land in the Gard countryside.

Need to get away from it all? Discover this beautiful Provencal residence with its refined interior and peaceful setting, ideal for a relaxing holiday with family or friends.

With its 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and large living areas, there's something for everyone! You can prepare your favourite meals in the well-equipped kitchen and relax in the swimming pool. This particularly elegant residence is set in no less than 7,000 m² of grounds, with various relaxation areas, sun loungers and a barbecue for al fresco dining, plus parking.

The tiny village of Massanes is surrounded by wine-growing countryside and overlooks the Gardon valley, where you can sample a local wine in Vézenobres (5km), take an electric scooter ride in Alès (10km) or discover the Village des Enfants in Montagnac (10km)... There are also a number of walking routes nearby, such as "La Mer de Rochers" (The Sea of Rocks), which offers an enchanting landscape combining vegetation and surprisingly shaped rocks. Don't miss a visit to the Bambouseraie, a unique exotic park 16 kilometres from the house.


The city of Nîmes (25 km) is well worth a visit, as are Montpellier and Arles, which, as Mediterranean beaches, are only an hour's drive away.

Situated between the Mediterranean and the Rhône valley, the Gard boasts a privileged location with a wide range of things to discover, including Provencal villages and towns with a rich heritage such as Uzès and Aigues-Mortes, the famous Pont du Gard, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the unspoilt landscapes of the Gard Camargue and the Cévennes.
For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters

Schöne Architektur, gute Ausstattung, leider mangelnde Sauberkeit und Instandhaltung Schönes, riesiges Ferienhaus zwischen Alès, Uzès, Anduze und Nimes,. Extravagante Fliesenböden, schöne Orangerie. Man fühlt sich wie im Herrenhaus. Gute Ausstattung, interessante Kunst, großer Garten. Aber: Das Ferienhaus liegt an der einzigen Zufahrt zu einem Betonwerk. Ab 6.30 Uhr kreisen pausenlos Betonmischer und Sattelzüge mit Schüttgut durch die schmale Ortspassage. Wenn sich 2 Lkw begegnen wird zurückgesetzt – pieppieppiep… Ausschlafen kann schwierig sein. Oberflächliche Reinigung. Staubnester in den Ecken. Oberhalb der Augenhöhe Staubfäden und Spinnweben einschließlich Bewohnern. Wir haben uns letztlich damit geholfen selbst sauber zu machen. Vernachlässigte Reparaturen: Türen klemmen, Fenster (das Haus hat wirklich großartige Fenster) lassen sich nicht öffnen und/oder sind stark eingeschmutzt. Defekt: Backofen, Türschlösser, Tür Kücheneckschrank, Regendusche, Schlagladen mit 3 Scharnieren hängt nur noch an einem, Wanne nicht befestigt, Schutzfolienreste, Spülenablauf Küche defekt, Abdeckplane des Pools ist lustlos neben den Pool geknüllt, im Garten liegt Müll, der ehemals parkähnlich angelegte Vorgarten ist nur spärlich gepflegt und hat als Hundeklo gedient, Kamin nicht nutzbar … Pool ist nicht beheizt und verliert Wasser. Der Gast muss manuell Wasser nachspeisen. Daher ist das Wasser kalt. Gebucht über fewo-direkt bei Belvilla würden wir nicht mehr machen. Hm, wenig Begeisterung..

Ein wirklich spezielles Haus! Innen extrem schick und geschmackvoll eingerichtet ...

Ein wirklich spezielles Haus! Innen extrem schick und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, Matratzen und Bäder vom feinsten, jedes Zimmer wunderschön ausgestattet mit Designermöbeln, Designerlampen, die Fotos versprechen nicht zu viel. Riesige neue Fernseher. Außen hingegen sind Garten und Terrasse vollkommen ungepflegt, es gibt so gut wie keine Gartenmöbel, der Pool war die ganze Zeit defekt (verlor Wasser) und voller Stockflecken und direkt gegenüber des Hauses - ca. drei Meter entfernt - steht eine riesige, halb verfallene Bauruine, unbewohnt und traurig anzusehen. Zudem war es innen zwar wunderschön, aber auch etwas schmutzig (bei Ankunft schmierige Böden, Müll nicht geleert, Essensreste im Kühlschrank). Wir haben uns nicht beschwert, weil der Preis trotzdem okay war, aber würden es nicht wieder buchen.
