The villa is immaculate, with three, sea-view bedrooms and a spacious living room complete with fireplace for the occasional cool evening in early or late season. Outside there is a large private pool (8mx4m) with separate jacuzzi, a barbecue and a delightful trellised pergola; dine here in your own peaceful haven, or meander down the steep driveway and track to the village with its pebble beach and handful of picturesque waterfront bars and tavernas. Agios Stephanos is one of the most sought-after villages in Corfu, and an idyllic place to rediscover the simple pleasures in life. Days can be whiled away here and at nearby beautiful Kerasia Beach, or better still, puttering along the coast in a small motor boat discovering tiny deserted bays for a delightful private picnic or swim.

Turn RIGHT at the junction at the bottom of this road. This will lead you to a T. junction and a set of traffic lights, where the sea is in front of you, with the Old Fortress ahead/left. Turn LEFT here. Step 2 After 300 m you will pass the CORFU PALACE HOTEL on your LEFT. Follow the road up hill, joining a one-way system, around the LISTON/CRICKET PITCH, entrance to the OLD FORT and MAIN PARKING area that will lead you out of Corfu Town. Step 3 Follow the road around passing the old port, and new ports. You will come to the round-a-bout. Take the first exit. The SETTE VENTI CAFE is located on your right). Continue on this road for about 2km until you reach a major T. Junction and another set of traffic lights. Step 4 Turn RIGHT here. Lidl on your LEFT. Continue along this main road, through many sets of traffic lights. You will notice a blue building on your LEFT, which is the HOSPITAL. Step 5 Follow signs to DASIA & KASSIOPI - Keep in the RIGHT lane. Turn RIGHT at the lights, which will take you along the coastal road, and up the North East coast. Step 6 You will pass through the villages of DASIA, then the narrow resort of IPSOS before climbing uphill towards the small resort of BARBATI, passing developments such as RIVIERA BARBATI and PIERA DEL MAR on you RIGHT. The sea will always be to you right. Continue North through BARBATI. Step 7 You will then reach the village of NISSAKI. Keep to the main road – (do not turn off to the beach), travelling uphill until you reach the church and the SIMPSON TRAVEL OFFICE signs, located next to the church. Step 8 Continue past the office – 100m on your LEFT you will notice APHRODITE’S SUPERMARKET. This is your local supermarket and bakery. Anthi Vitamins & Roumeli Tavernas are also in this village. You will then pass through the end of Nissaki, passing a petrol station on your LEFT and then a sharp bend to the RIGHT and signs to KAMINAKI. Again, continue along the main road. Step 9 After 1km you will climb uphill, passing the entrance to the BLUE ATLANTICA HOTEL on your RIGHT. 100m further on you will see the sign for AGNI. Continue on the main road and uphill and around a sharp hairpin bend to the RIGHT. Continue through the village of KENDROMA. Step 10 Continue on this road. You will see signs for GIMARI, KALAMI, KOULOURA. Continue. The sea is visible on your RIGHT. Continue up hill and then the road flattens out. You will now see the sign for SINIES and about 500 m on another sign for AGIOS STEPHANOS. (Please note that this sign is Situated on right by the junction, so please approach the junction slowly as it will be missed. Turn RIGHT here, and head down towards a small round-a-bout by YANNIS SUPERMARKET. Turn LEFT at the small round-a bout and continue downhill into AGIOS STEPHANOS. Step 11 This road will take you downhill. Once at the bottom of the hill you will approach a bend (to the LEFT) and in front of there are several communal refuse bins. DO NOT TAKE THE FIRST CONCRETE TRACK. Turn RIGHT and head towards the CHURCH which is straight in front of you. Follow this track with the CHURCH now on your RIGHT. Continue along this track – the first house you will pass is Leonora’s House. Turn right up the steep drive. Please turn the air conditioning off. Leonora’s House is at the top.
