Overlooking the rolling hills of Tuscany is Casa Papa, a quintessentially Italian villa that is ideally located for exploring this world-famous region. The medieval walled town of San Gimignano is only a 30-minute drive from the villa, while a train ride can take you to Florence, Siena and Pisa within an hour. Casa Papa is designed to make the most of the views of the iconic landscape surrounding the villa, as relaxed interiors flow into the well-kept gardens to encourage al-fresco dining. On the upper level, an open plan living area leads directly into a covered veranda equipped with an outdoor kitchen, barbecue, and pizza oven. On the ground floor are two bedrooms and a bathroom, making the property well suited to families or two couples travelling together. Casa Papa is close to the pretty town of Castelfiorentino, where you will find a few quaint bars, restaurants and everything needed for day-to-day living. Visitors in the last week of May will see the town filled with performers and markets for the annual In/Canti & Banchi Festival.

FI PI LI dual carriageway in the direction FIRENZE. • After approximately 47 km exit at EMPOLI. • Take the slip road and follow all signs for the SR429 and for CASTELFIORENTINO. • Along this road you will pass by Brusciana and Castelnuovo d’Elsa. • Continue for approximately 19 km always remaining on the SR429, this road will take you west around the town. Continue until this road ends at CASTELFIORENTINO SUD. • At the roundabout take the second exit , turning left and joining the S4 which takes you towards the centre ‘centro’ of Castelfiorentino. • At the next roundabout go straight ahead. • Continue following the sign Castelfiorentino Centro. • Drive for 1km in the right hand lane. • Change into the left hand lane and at the traffic lights turn left into Via Potente and immediately right into Via Timignano Fornace. • Bear right at the fork into Via A Vivaldi and follow the blue sign RENAI which brings you in to Via del Vallone. Drive under the flyover. • Continue for approximately 550 meters until you see the sign Via del Vallone 5B on your left. • Turn here. The gate of Casa Papa is immediately on your left. From Bologna airport: • Take the A1 autostrada (Green sign) direction Firenze/Roma • Exit the A1 at Firenze Scandicci and join the superstrada FI-PI-LI direction to Pisa/Livorno. This is the SS67 • After approximately 27.5 km exit at EMPOLI. • Take the slip road and follow all signs for the SR429 and for CASTELFIORENTINO. • Along this road you will pass by Brusciana and Castelnuovo d’Elsa. • Continue for approximately 19 km always remaining on the SR429, this road will take you west around the town.
