Beyond that is the living area which is the ideal spot to relax in front of the fire or TV, after an enjoyable day’s walking, cycling, climbing, or just sightseeing in the Lakes. The kitchen is well appointed with all the amenities you need to prepare anything from a pack lunch to a romantic meal for two. The bedroom is a good size with a king-size bed and has an ensuite with walk in shower, to gently massage those aching muscles after a busy day.
Two of the most popular towns in the Lake District, Bowness, a 35-minute walk, and Windermere, a 20-minute walk, both offer a great selection of independent shops, cafes, restaurants, and pubs to enjoy. In addition, Bowness has some great local attractions such as The World Of Beatrix Potter attraction, The Jetty Museum and cinema.
It is also one of the access points for ferry rides across Lake Windermere. Slightly further afield there is Ambleside and within the local area there is a whole host of outdoor activities to choose from including sailing, paddle boarding, tree top trek, climbing, archery, and plenty more. For those who prefer fewer active pursuits, you are spoilt for choice with National Trust locations, Garden Centres, Museums, Steam railways and animal parks. There is truly something for everyone close to this location and we haven’t even mentioned the famous scenery and views all over the Lake District.

The water is from a spring, well or borehole, and not a mains supply.
