Reputed to be one of the most beautiful bays in the world, there is an uninterrupted view of the Bay of Villefranche over the terracotta roof tiles of the Old Town. This 4* two bedroom, two bathroom apartment is situated on a quiet residential road just a short distance down to the town and a few more steps to the beach. There is level access into the building with a lift to the first floor apartment. The property details includes a 30 sqm balcony, a spacious lounge and a fully equipped open plan kitchen/dining area with washing machine only. There is one bedroom with double bed that is en-suite with both a bath and walk in shower. There is also a second double bedroom adjacent to the second bathroom with a walk in shower. There is free fast wifi and also a garage for a small to medium size car with plenty of road parking available outside.Villefranche sur mer is situated in the French Riviera at the head of a beautiful Bay. The Bay is bounded one side by Cap St Jean Ferat peninsula and Mont Boron with Nice over the hill to the west.

The charming old town offers many shops and restaurants in the narrow streets and on the water's edge. The fishing port has many traditional boats and boats for hire.

Villefranche is in the Alpes Maritimes with over 100 medieval villages in the hills and mountains nearby.

Public transport is excellent either by bus or train available in the town with Monaco and the Italian border to the East and Nice to Antibes, Cannes and St Tropez to the west. Nice international airport is close by.

Very clean. Modern . Amazing views. Ideal if you have car , less so without. Be prepared for lots of steep hills & steps. Easy access to Monaco by bus & , Nice. In the centre the train takes you further afield Cannes (hour) Antibes. Reliable and reasonable transport plus Ubers. Downside was Lack of support.

Aptil 2024 - 5 day stay

Lovely apartment with spectacular views over the bay. Be prepared to walk the stairs or take taxis as the property is located high up from the old town. If it wasn't you wouldn't get the spectacular views! We enjoyed the exercise. Fully equipped apartment, everything was catered for. Lovely receiving two bottles of wine on arrival after a straight 20-hour drive from the UK. Nice touch. Safe garage parking was a big bonus and for guidance managed to get a Mercedes E-class estate inside. Not a criticism but the master bedroom on-suite around the toilet area could do with some attention as ants had taken charge. A small detail. Accidentally left a mobile phone on the day of departure - Dermont travelled specially from Nice while we waited so we could retrieve it. Very grateful to him for this. Will use it again.

A Riviera Retreat

This is a beautiful apartment that anyone would be lucky to stay in during their holiday on the French Riviera. A spacious terrace with an amazing view, flawless A/C, an updated and well-equipped kitchen, and a working washer, what more could you ask for? Our family of 5 is already planning our next trip back. Thank you so much!
