Downtown island condo available, central to all the Town of La Pointe and Island has to offer. Perfect location, convenient and within walking/biking distance to everything - the ferry, restaurants, coffee shops, museums, art studios, bars, golf course, pool and marina.

This nautical designed unit consists of 1 bedroom w/ Queen bed, bathroom with shower/bath, full kitchen, futon sofa in the living room, TV (no reception) with DVD player. Sleeps 4. 2 night minimum during the Summer months.

Great stay!

You can't beat the location of this condo! Just a few minutes walk from the public beach, great shops, restaurants, and bars. Very clean and comfortable with all the amenities you would need.

Island Holiday

Spacious, comfortable, clean. Comfy Queen bed. Kitchen reasonably well stocked for meal prep at home. Nice space.

Decent place

I thought the location was great, the apt is clean, but overall quality is what you would expect for an upstairs apt in an aging strip mall. Checkin was easy. The window air conditioner is in the living room so the bedroom is kinda warm even with the window open. I would consider staying there again if we found our way back to the island.

Cute place!

This is a great condo close to everything in LaPointe. Even though Tom's Butned Out Bar is across the street, it wasnt too loud for us at night. It was very hot and humid the weekend we were there and the air conditioner had a hard time keeping up. Maybe a ceiling fan in the living area would help with air circulation, but how often is it that warm on the island!

It was a very nice clean place to stay. Steps were a little tough to negotiate for me 66 and my husband 69, but we made it work.

Perfect Location

This place is great!!!! First off I would like to thanks the hosts for working with me on changing the dates due to an emergency with my dog. Great communication and very understanding. The location is perfect, right in the middle of town and walking distance to everything. Would 100% stay again.

Fourth of July 2023 Weekend

The apartment is nice and everything we needed was there. It's close to restaurants, the ferry, etc. Only the sound from the bar across the street with live music was a little disturbing at night, but it was the Fourth of July weekend so we can't complain.

Quaint, Clean & In the Heart of Action

Had a beautiful weekend stay on Madeline Island. It was great to get a break from electronics & take in everything the island has to offer. This location is ideal to call home for your adventure!! It is located above the "hub" to help you plan each day - from bikes, to moped's, coffee, lil' sugar from the bakery, The Chamber of Commerce even to name a few! The Hosts are extremely helpful & responsive. The Condo has a whimsical, nautical/island theme & neat map to boot! Memories that were created here are heartfelt & appreciated. Look forward to staying again!

Exactly as listed

The listing is 100% what you will get, the space is actually a little nicer than what the photos show! Its no frills but who spends all their time inside on the island? Have stayed in a couple of other units above the shops and this is has been the nicest so far. Was a little weary of the clean up/check out procedure being alot but its also better than paying some of the ridiculous clean up fees other properties charge.

Not happy with required damage deposit.

The condo was in need of renovation. The host requires either a very substantial damage deposit or that you purchase damage insurance through VRBO. I found this somewhat offensive. Plus, the condo already has water damage to the cabinetry, a broken sliding door in the closet, and other damage. In other words, the host could easily claim that a guest caused the damage and refuse to refund all or part of the deposit. I spent a half hour or more taking pictures of damaged areas. It seems to me that the host could reserve the right to require insurance or a deposit without making it mandatory.

Great place to stay!

This was our first trip to Madeline Island and we had a great time! Location of apartment is ideal. Next to all the restaurants, shops, etc. Apartment had everything we needed for a long weekend getaway. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for the hospitality!

La Pointe

We enjoyed the location near the big lake. Kind of a busy spot, with the laundry mat just down stairs and the scooter rentals going on. A bit more of a heads up might have been helpful. The apartment was very comfortable and we enjoyed our time there.

Cozy central spot

We stayed here the past 2 Labor Day weekends and had a wonderful stay each time. This apartment is right in the center of the action in La Pointe, yet tranquil and relaxing. A spacious living room/kitchen area with breakfast bar and partial lake/downtown views is paired with a cozy bedroom with a ceiling fan (my fav!) and full bath. Check in/out process is simple, communication is quick with any questions and many of the highlights of the island are only steps away!

Magical!

5 Pines is an incredible home in an equally wonderful location. The Farmhouse, with the lovely screened in front porch and the spectacular screened in dining room surpassed our expectations. Access to kayaks and stand up paddle boards, with the beach just yards away, was a huge bonus. We loved the yard games on site. Our group ranged in age from 1-60+, and all were delighted with our stay.
