Hog End is tucked away in the glorious countryside of East Devon, within easy reach of the coast, moors and Blackdown Hills. The perfect base for four guests to relax and unwind.. 1 step to entrance.

Bedroom 2: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. LPG central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Rear garden with patio, sitting out area, garden furniture and BBQ. Hot tub for 6 (private). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are 3 steps in the garden. . Hog End is a cosy two-bedroom holiday home nestled in the heart of the Blackdown Hills an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This newly converted end-terraced barn is furnished to a high standard with everything you need for a memorable holiday. As you enter the property, head into the stylish and bright open plan kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed to prepare a home cooked meal, the living/dining area is comfortably furnished with sofa and a table and chairs. After a busy day exploring the area, step into the back garden which has a lawn, patio area, outdoor seating, charcoal barbecue, and a six-seater hot tub. This private space is a real suntrap with views across the fields to the woodland beyond and it is a great spot for enjoying your morning coffee whilst planning your adventurous day ahead.
As the evening draws to a close, head upstairs and drift off to sleep within one of the two spacious bedrooms which each have a zip and link super king-size bed (can be setup with twin beds if requested). One of these bedrooms has a Juliet balcony with beautiful views across the fields and an ensuite with a walk-in shower, and the other bedroom has an ensuite with a shower cubicle. With such proximity to nature, it is likely that you will hear the nightly chorus of owls and see deer roaming in the fields. You can enjoy amazingly clear views of the night sky and a telescope is available for your use, if desired, to enhance your viewing experience. Within the grounds there are friendly chickens and at your request, freshly laid eggs and homemade jam can be provided on arrival.
The nearest village, Dunkeswell is a 5-minute drive where you will find a well-equipped grocery shop, Indian restaurant, bar and fish and chip shop. Dunkeswell airfield is situated at 839 feet above sea level making it the highest licensed airfield in the UK. The airfield is open to visitors throughout the year and offers 15,000ft tandom skydives for thrill seekers. The market town of Honiton is a 10-minute drive, offering numerous bars, restaurants and supermarkets, antique shops, and boutiques. The beautiful Jurassic Coast is a short 30-minute drive away, with the choice of the quiet bays at Branscombe and Beer, the coastal towns of Sidmouth and Seaton or the sandy 2-mile beach at Exmouth. Other local activities include Yarak Bird of Prey experience, Diggerland, The Bear Trail, Crealy Theme Park and Resort, Axe Valley Wildlife Park and The Donkey Sanctuary. You’ll find everything you need for a perfect stay at Hog End.

Lovely cottage on a farm.
Lovely cottage on a farm. Well equipped and spacious. Nice hot tub well looked after. Great for couples but not much for children, small garden. We had a great relaxing week Julie the owner sent lots of helpful information and a welcome cake and eggs.
