We (Robert and Pamela) purchased the Coach House in June 2021 and have made extensive improvements in recent months - new kitchen, windows furnishings.....note that the photos still need to be updated!
Having viewed numerous properties, we fell in love with the Coach House due to its unique character and deceptively spacious accommodation having ample space for 6 adults and the unusual bonus of off-street parking.

Why they chose this property
Outside this North York Moors cottage, there is a private and secluded graveled courtyard behind large wooden gate, suitable for off-road parking up to three cars, with mature shrubs a lovely, sheltered spot to sit and relax in the sunshine.
Take a short stroll through the town, to find an excellent parade of shops, with tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and independent retailers, whilst the beach and sea front are just a little further, promising to be exceptional days out for the entire family.
Other attractions to suit all ages and tastes include the fascinating Sea Life, where you can gain an insight into the creatures of the deep or brush up on the local history with a visit to the town’s imposing castle, boasting awe-inspiring view across the sea and over town.
Whilst here, be sure to visit the Rotunda Museum, boasting fascinating displays on a range of local topics or bask in the sunshine as you enjoy the Italian Gardens, Alpamare Water Park, Peasholm Park and the Scarborough Open Air Theatre.
Slightly further afield is the historic seaside town of Whitby, where even more attractions are awaiting to be discovered, whilst the North York Moors National Park offers an abundance of outdoor activities from rambling, cycling, horse riding to watersports.
With the stunning surrounding countryside and a collection of pretty coastal villages to discover, this cottage is the perfect choice for that long-awaited family holiday.
