Once again a great stay. First time using the new checkin procedure. Instructions may seem a bit daunting but is incredibly straight forward. 3 minute walk to the shop for keys. Is open 24 hours so no worries if you have travel delays our 4th or 5 th stay at the flat
We were in London for a long weekend and the apartment was in a perfect location. Ian was attentive and easy to communicate with and the place is as lovely as the photos. Would definitely stay again!
We enjoyed our stay here. Location was great. It was easy to get to sites and lots of great restaurants close by. The flat was very clean and well appointed.
Perfect little place right in the middle of central London. Easy access to many highly visited areas and the tube as well. Great hub to start daily adventures. Apartment was clean and had everything needed for my stay.
This was my wife and I’s first trip to London, and this property near Covent Garden was perfect. From the convenient, central location with nearby tube stations and bus stops to the fully equipped kitchen. It was an ideal home base for our European adventure. Excellent check in instructions with photos and the place was spotless upon arrival. The host, Ian, was ultra responsive, available, and even had coffee pods delivered to the flat when we couldn’t locate them in any nearby stores. Service beyond expectations! I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you for making our trip even more memorable!
A great property for 2 in a perfect central London location. The flat was hospital clean, well equipped and charmingly decorated. The location couldn’t have been better, easy walk to the British museum, west end theaters, Oxford/Bond St. and all the food/pubs that one could ask for. Access to the rest of London
was just a short tube ride away. The flat was easy to get to from Paddington Station. All in all, a perfect place to explore London!
I was just one person for this work trip. It was the perfect size for me. The location was very good in Covent Garden. The apartment was very clean too.
Great location, very clean and well appointed. Heads up - it is on the fifth floor with no lift/elevator so you need to be able to do stairs. We would stay here again.
Easy access to the Underground and numerous restaurants and pubs. The host as easily accessed when I encountered check-in difficulties. Be sure to review all pictures located in Vrbo app regarding checkin. The apartment is cute. Be sure you understand that it is a five story walk-up. Carrying heavy bags may be a challenge.
We were delighted with this apartment. It was absolutely spotless, very well equipped, and the location could not have been better. Easy walking distance to many sights, close to theatres, very lively area.
Ian always responded quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.
We loved this nice apartment!
Nicely decorated, very clean and well equipped for the meals we cooked while there.
I thought they had a hair dryer but couldn't find it. The bed is very soft so be aware of that if you have back issues and/or prefer a firm bed.
The location is fantastic and if you are into comedy, there is a venue right around the corner. We would definitely book again next time we come to London.
Our third stay at Ians property Location is perfect Very walkable . Yes it is top floor ..no lift.. good cardio workout
Some renovation noise across the street but appears to be winding up soon.
Kitchen is nicely equipped and bonus having washer/dryer
Great place to stay in the middle of London activities and sites. Very clean, well furnished and comfortable. It is up 4 flights of stairs, which is a little challenging with luggage, but the owner makes that situation clear in the listing so you should not be surprised. Also very quiet and safe. Would definitely recommend it.
We spent 8 nights in this clean flat that has cable tv, washer/dryer, and was close to so much waking or riding the tube. If we are able to travel to London again, we would stay here. Ian was easy to contact ahead of and during the trip. If you are looking for a 2 person place that is safe and easy access to London, this us a great find.
The flat is perfectly located for theatre in the West End, and is very near a number of underground stations, allowing for easy trips to additional theatres, the airport, etc. As described by the host, there is no lift and one climbs 64 steps to the 4th floor flat. The flat is rather small but well-appointed with a good kitchen and a very convenient washer/dryer.
The apartment is a 5 minute walk to so many attractions including the theatres and Covent Garden. You step out of the building and have a choice of coffee shops and restaurants at your door step. A 5 minute walk will take you to 2 different underground stations. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. Ian responds to any inquiries immediately. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to London!
This is an absolutely flawless rental. The space is really well arranged so that it feels roomy for two; the decoration is charming, not soulless like so many short-term rentals, but the place looks and feels spotless; and Ian is incredibly helpful. There was a problem with the key, clearly originating with the previous renter, and Ian made a four-hour round trip on no notice to resolve it. I was glad to know about the stairs — it can feel like a long climb — but the location is so convenient and the building has a very nice residential vibe. Five stars all round.
Ian's apartment was perfectly located a couple of minutes walk from the heart of Covent Garden. That means everything was very close, but the apartment was nice and quiet. Although not large, the apartment had everything you needed with excellent arrival instructions, and helpful information on operating everything the apartment and all about the general area. Ian had lots of thoughtful touches like various guidebooks and chilled water waiting for us. It was five minutes from four different tube stops, which made touring a breeze. There are four flights of stairs as described in the listing, and they were quite manageable. The bathroom is rather narrow, so this spot might not be ideal for four adults, but it worked perfectly for the two of us. Our previously booked location cancelled just two months before our scheduled trip, so extra thanks to Ian for helping us out.
The apartment was as described and although it was small it was an excellent place for the two of us. It was clean, well decorated and the kitchen was well stocked with dishware and utensils. Although we didn't cook there was a stove, dishwasher and oven/microwave. There was also a washing machine and an expresso machine with a few pods. The host (Ian) had left a bottle of water for us in the refrigerator. The location was excellent - right in the theater district, close to many restaurants and coffee shops. It was easy to walk to many places of interest. The piccadilly tube from Heathrow was a less than a 10 min walk from the apartment. Prior to our arrival Ian was having problems with the lock box and so he contacted me in advance and personally met us upon arrival. He was very friendly and easy to contact. The only thing that might be a problem is that the apartment is on the 4th floor and there is no elevator which is clearly stated in the description. The location and the apartment itself more than made up for the hike up the stairs. We would definitely stay their again.
