Hibiki will meet all your needs: a spacious fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a heated western-style living room with a Japanese garden on one side and a beautiful interior courtyard on the other.
Description of the house
Hibiki House is a modern style machiya house, a perfect fusion of traditional Japanese architecture and western comfort. It was born from a project in collaboration with Kyoto University and obtained the certification of "Hesei no Kyo-machiya". Conceptually, a "Heisei no Kyo Machiya" house is not just a building, it must also have an open space. This space is an important element in the composition of the house and it fulfills various functions: it allows better flow of winds for natural air conditioning in the house, and maximum brightness thanks to the sliding doors and large windows that are installed.
On the ground floor there is a very spacious western living / dining room, kitchen, private Japanese garden, terrance, shower and restroom.
Upstairs has a western bedroom with a work desk and a Japanese style bedroom with cozy Japanese style futon mattresses. Up to 7 people can sleep comfortably at Hibiki House. There is also a Japanese bathroom, laundry room, and toilet upstairs.
