About this property

Scouts Cottage, Snettisham, Norfolk

Located in the coastal village of Snettisham, Scouts Cottage is a beautiful bijou bolthole just made for two! Tucked away in a peaceful corner of this popular village, just a couple of miles inland from North Norfolk's glorious coast, Scouts Cottage has a super-king sized bed and is an idyllic romantic hideaway to escape to at any time of the year.

Formerly a Scout's Hall, this delightful little cottage has emerged from hibernation and transformed itself into a stylish and romantic Norfolk hideaway. Every little thing has been thought of to make sure guests feel welcome, relaxed and at home - from a well-equipped shaker-style kitchen, to glass topped dining, sink-into seating when it's time to unwind and a glorious bathroom that has a a roll top tub as well as a generous-sized rainfall shower. How fab is that?

A short walk from the cottage will take you into the village, where you will find excellent local facilities, including a small but well stocked supermarket, a popular award-winning dining pub, a restaurant listed in the Michelin Guide, and a fabulous dine-in coffee shop. There is easy access to some wonderful beaches, stunning birdwatching available at nearby nature reserves and superb walking opportunities, both coastal and inland that you and your dog will love. And, last but not least, a visit to Sandringham House, just down the road, is definitely a must-see during your stay.

Great ambience but issues with velux windows no blinds woken at sunrise at 4.40am

Great ambience but very short on cooking dishes, should have at least a cafetière or inexpensive coffee maker. No oven gloves, paper towels, washing up liquid. Cold tap in bathroom fell off each time used, no where to hang wet bath towels. Some of these issued were raised in the guest book over the last 18 months but not been addressed so didn’t leave a comment. Snettisham great village , good places to eat but I love to cook also, if the above issues were solved we would return in a heartbeat
