About this property
A tribute to nature in line with the Aeolian Architecture
Terra e Mare was born out of love: a unique land, a simple nature, for the silence overlooking the sea. The slow island life out of season, for the fragrances that open up your heart, the genuine kindness of its people, the dexterity of the Aeolian masters.
It is how was born Terra e Mare, a tribute to nature in line with the Aeolian Architecture.
Designer & Founder Marco Manna.
The structure
Terra e Mare is an exclusive complex of two houses with a stunning view of Salina, Filicudi and Alicudi islands, which can be admired in their splendor from the terraces overlooking the sea.
Casa Terra and Casa Mare have been completely renovated with eco-sustainable materials and technologies.
Thanks to photovoltaic panels and the collection of filtered rainwater, Terra e Mare can be considered self-sufficient.
Terra e Mare has been designed to have the least possible environmental impact: the water is purified; all the fabrics from the sheets to the towels are in organic cotton; the mattresses are made of vegetable foam, the duvets in recycled plastic; the plates and glasses are recycled glass; dispensers of bathroom products are refilled with organic products; the car and the bikes are recharged using photovoltaic panels; cleaning products are eco-sustainable.
Terra e Mare is also gluten free and cruelty free. Fruits and vegetables are rather from local production or organic.
