Welcome to The Hurlers, named after the ancient set of three stone circles located just a short distance from this stunning holiday haven. Set in the gently undulating foothills of Bodmin Moor, Rosecraddoc Manor is a peaceful escape. Equipped to a very high standard, with many luxurious touches, The Hurlers is set in landscaped grounds of this beautiful holiday site, with the river Seaton gently flowing by its side.
Extremely spacious, light and airy throughout, the villa comprises an open plan kitchen/dining area with a large flatscreen TV and is very well equipped - so that basic breakfast or even a hearty feast can be easily prepared and enjoyed! There is a superb breakfast bar area, a bespoke feature corner bar with stylish stools to match. The living room has a further flatscreen TV and sumptuous furniture where you can simply relax, and from here French doors lead on to a large, private riverside patio, complete with garden furniture.
Rosecraddoc Manor is surrounded by 35 acres of natural gardens and bluebell woods that beckon to you to stroll along its footpaths. The lake is well stocked for coarse fishing, with carp, roach and bream, and the all-weather tennis court can be enjoyed April–October.
This is an ideal location from which to tour the whole of Cornwall, South Devon and Dartmoor. South-east Cornwall has some of the best and most varied countryside in the whole of the south-west of England from the mists of atmospheric Bodmin Moor to the creeks and valleys of the rivers, as well as the secluded coves, sandy beaches and rocky outcrops of the coastline in the south.
Picturesque Looe, with its many attractions, is just 8 miles away, whilst Polperro, forever linked to age-old stories of smuggling and wrecking, is a delightful visit. Historic Plymouth, with its city attractions, and the Eden Project are both about 20 miles away. Beach 12 miles. Shop and pub 1½ miles.
Cats are not allowed at the property.
A fishing licence is required.
There is open water in the property grounds.
Fishing is chargeable at £30 for the week.
