About this property
Beck Yeat Cottage - Coniston - close to lake
Beck Yeat is a single floored cottage just off Lake Road, Coniston. Ideally positioned midway between the lake and village centre, each only a 5-minute walk away.
This cottage is great for friends and families looking to park up the car and explore the local area on foot. Being so central also means there's plenty of easy access to the surrounding fells and mountains nearby, should the desire to explore take you higher.
With its functional layout, there's ample room within the cottage for little legs to let off steam and for bigger legs to put their feet up and enjoy the surrounding views, either from inside or from the delightful cottage garden.
In essence Beck Yeat is ideal for holidays across the generations - grandparents, parents and children, all will find this cottage a home from home.
Ground Floor
As you enter the hallway, the living room is to your left. A comfy sofa and armchairs encircle the slate-surrounded open fireplace; no problem in picturing evenings spent enjoying a quiet tipple in front of a warming fire. As well as the usual TV and DVD, there are plenty of books available too.
The dining room, seating six, adjoins the sitting room and looks out onto the lovely cottage garden. Conveniently there's also a cubbyhole giving access to the kitchen.
The kitchen with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave & dishwasher leads out to into the beautiful mature garden.
Three flexible bedrooms can accommodate numerous combinations - though the mountain views from the front and garden views from the back are fixed!
