About this property

Cosy historic farmhouse overlooking Hebden Bridge

Our house is a listed farmhouse, presenting as late Georgian, but believed to be closer to 400 years old. It is a large house with 4 large bedroom (one of which is en-suite), separate kitchen, living, dining, and music rooms and an enclosed garden. We have several desks and a computer monitor should a guest require to work during their stay.

It is situated at the upper edge of Crimsworth Dene, on the edge of the Moors, overlooking Hebden Bridge. Hebden is a five minute drive (or 25-30 minute walk through the woods), and Howarth is ten. Manchester and Leeds are 35 and 45 minutes by train from Hebden.

There are endless walks beginning at the doorstep; Hardcastle Crags (A National Trust) can be reached without even crossing a road! There are waterfalls within walking distance in which you can swim, and we have a small fire pit in the garden for grilling food.
